Thursday night:
Eagles +4.5 - Philadelphia is finally playing some good football. I think the Bengals are cooked now after letting the Dallas game get away. Take the points here but the Eagles should be in position to win this one.
Sunday:
Rams -3 +105 - They aren't pretty but St. Louis is a sneaky 6-6-1 and still alive in the playoff hunt. Minnesota got a good win at home over the Bears but at the end of the day the Vikings aren't that good of a team and their one-dimensional offense makes them a tough team to back on the road here.
Texans -9.5 +105 - I like backing Houston in this spot off the blowout loss. Indy has had some magic but I'm still not buying them as a legit contender. Texans defense has looked shaky lately but I think they bounce back this week.
Jaguars +7 and ML +270 - Miami is almost always a great fade when laying this many points at home. The Dolphins are coming off a tough game across the country against the 49ers and now have to play the shitty in-state rival Jags. Jacksonville has shown signs of improvement late in the season and I'm willing to back them in this spot as a crappy team that will play for some late-season pride.
Bills +5.5 and ML +205 - This line is a bit inflated after the Seahawks dismantling of the Cards. This line should be Seahawks -3/-3.5 at most. Buffalo should be right there in this game and I think we're getting great value with 5.5 points here.
Cowboys +1 +100 - This line doesn't really make much sense. Two 7-6 teams and Pittsburgh is a small fave on the road? No way I can make this a big play as I expect a hard-fought, close game. I think you have to back the home team in this one if you're getting points however.
49ers/Patriots Under 46 - I liked the Under on this after the Monday Night Football game but when I went to take it today I saw that the total has dropped 3 points. New England will have trouble moving the ball like they did the other night because of San Francisco's pressure and physicality. The Niners can get to Brady and disrupt the receivers and that's what it takes to beat the Pats. Not sure how I feel about the spread yet but I think the Under is the play. Does this total continue to drop?
