    MNF: Chiefs vs Steelers Pick

    I know you may be thinking, the line is a bit high, so I have a play that I think has a great chance of hitting. Personally I think the Steelers cover in this spot, but to be safe I put my money on the 1stQ.

    Steelers 1stQ -3 -115

    I'd get it quick, because I'm seeing it go to -120 and -125 on some books, and I probably wouldn't recommend if it went to -3.5.

    Mike Tomlin is 6-1 on MNF. Steelers are a perfect 14-0 in last 14 consecutive home MNF games, longest streak record. Chiefs are on a god awful 5-game losing streak and Steelers are on a modest 3-game winning streak.

    The most important stat in my opinion though is the fact that the Chiefs have not held a single lead in their first eight games of a season. They simply do not score in the 1st quarter. The Steelers have scored a combined 40 points in the 1st quarter of all games this season. The Chiefs have scored 6. Steelers are ranked 7th in opponent ppg, Chiefs are 29th. Chiefs run game hits the Steelers wall tonight, and they give up a few more turnovers to add to their league-leading -20 turnover ratio (29 turnovers total). Steelers turnover ratio: +0 (7 total).

    I think if they cover -3 in first quarter they also cover the 14 for the game.

    I think if the steelers get off to a fast start the chiefs will quit and this will be a blowout.

    I think todd hayley will do everything in his power to run the score up here and make a Statement!!!

    Yikes, sorry guys. Opposites day for both team so far. Really terrible defensive efforts by Steelers with so many consecutive strong side run sets from the Chiefs. Stay tuned for halftime double up.
