Four tough games left against Houston 2x, New England and Detroit. I think the Steelers/Ravens take a wildcard spot and San Diego/Denver grab the other in the end.

Colts find themselves pushing for the playoffs in unexpected*year

Michael Marot, Associated Press | Nov 27, 2012 11:15 AM ET
    More from Associated Press

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Colts have a rookie quarterback, an interim coach, a long injury list and one of the league’s youngest teams.

It’s not supposed to be a winning combination in the NFL, yet somehow Indianapolis finds itself making a surprise playoff push as the calendar turns toward December. And as the stakes increase, the Colts seem immune to late-season pressure.

    They just expect to win.

“It’s worked this far,” interim coach Bruce Arians said Monday. “Just because it’s December, the price of poker has gone up but the process is still the same.”

Indy’s veterans never bought into the conventional wisdom they had to be patient for this rebuilding project to work. Instead, Pro Bowlers like Reggie Wayne, Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis immediately showed their cards by rejecting any mention of the R-word during the off-season.

Sure they can make the playoffs outside the big 3 Denver, Houston and Pats the rest of the AFC stinks.

Now that the Steelers are beaten up as hell, they look like the only legitmate wildcard. Cincy should be the other.

7-4 playing 4-7 and you are 5 point dogs.....

They should not allow such trash in the playoffs. Stupid feel good story for the NFL.

Hopefully they finish 8-8 but who know how much Houston will try.

Tampa over Chicago? They're essentially 3 back with 5 to go because Tampa's conference record is shit. And then they still have road games in Denver, New Orleans and Atlanta. This ain't happening. I guess of Seattle beats Chicago this week they could squeak through.

Yes but that was a home game and Denver had a good defense, while Colts have neither.

they will get raped in the playoffs lmao. they are absolutely no contest for any good team.

they have made progress with luck but still a long long long way to go. lucky for them the jets are a joke, the phins have an even longer way to go, the bills are a bunch of clowns coached by a bonehead, the titans shot themselves in the foot, the bengals are mediocre, and the chargers are a bunch of clowns with a piechucker qb and a coach that couldnt get a bunch of 6th graders to beat a bunch of 3rd graders
