Oakland Raiders 100/1 Super Bowl Odds

This team has lost two in a row, mainly due to the loss of their star RB Mcfadden. Went out in the first quarter in the KC game and did not play a snap in their last game. Obviously he has to get back strong for this bet to ever have a chance.

But in the AFC right now there is a big hole. Their is no elite team right now, so if Oakland Raiders can win their division, which they are tied for the lead right now, they as much of a chance as anyone.

Carson Palmer you figure is only going to get better as time roles with this team, and once he gets Mcfadden back healthy obviously that is going to give him many more open lanes to throw the ball to a great group of young WR's.

This is a long shot bet, but 100/1 odds?
When you have longer shots such as Eagles who are 30/1 and Cowboys at 47/1 ahead of them?

If you are only looking for value, is there a better pick then the Raiders at 100/1? Do you see value else-where?

    Green Bay Packers +210
    New England Patriots +700
    Baltimore Ravens +800
    San Francisco 49ers +1300
    Houston Texans +1350
    New Orleans Saints +1400
    Pittsburgh Steelers +1500
    San Diego Chargers +1700
    New York Jets +2000
    Detroit Lions +2400

    Atlanta Falcons +3000
    Philadelphia Eagles +3000
    Dallas Cowboys +4700
    Chicago Bears +5000
    Cincinnati Bengals +5000
    Buffalo Bills +6600
    Oakland Raiders +10000
    Kansas City Chiefs +20000

Thought about Eagles, but 30-1 is ridiculously low

Bears at 50-1 looks like a juicy hedge opportunity

Chicago just finds ways to win, they are like the Giants. You look at their team and games sometimes and they just get out there. They have a great defense, and now with Forte who knows. Cutler seems to be having a better year, and vs. the weak packers secondary i think they could beat em. They got their asses kicked in the first game, but Chicago's defense at the time was not playing well. I will be interested to see how the 2nd chicago/greenbay turns out.

Eagles, I don't know. They just don't seem to have the urgency. Like in the last game, they are still making careless, stupid errors. They have turned the ball over more then anybody in the league, and their defense can't get off the field on third down. They always make 1 careless error that costs them the game, in the Bears game it was Jackson fumbling the ball off the punt catch.
For them to even make the playoffs other wild-card teams are going to fall, and they have to basically win out.

Wouldn't say its no chance, but 100/1 seems like great value. McFadden has to get back healthy ASAP they can't keep losing games even in the weak AFC west.
I hope they can pull out the win, but i feel they lose again thursday, so maybe I should wait anther week for even greater odds.

You probably are only going to need 8 or 9 wins to win this division, and as we have seen before you just need to get into the playoffs. They have beaten the top tier teams in the AFC, Jets and Houston, lost by 3 to Buffalo.

A week or two ago we heard Raiders to the Super Bowl.....

They'll probably lose to the Chargers and you'll get even better odds.

Raiders are no better than Tampa, Denver, K.C., Tennessee, but if you think they win on thursday then might as well grab them now.

Yes sir, and then they lose their Staring QB, and starting RB(who to that point was preforming that best in the league).

A lot needs to happen obviously for this to have any chance, one of them is McFadden to be back healthy and ankles can be a tough injury. I need to read more about it, to see how he is progressing. Originally they thought he would be fine after the bye, but he missing yet anther game.

I have the Packers at 4 to 1 odds in the preseason.

I could hedge it with the Patriots now at 7 to 1 since they loss recently.

But right now either the Ravens or Steelers are the best AFC teams at the moment to get to the Super Bowl.

Waste of money, put it on the Eagles, Bears, Falcons or Titans.

Oakland? There QB is Carson Deadarm Palmer. I wouldn't even put 50 cents on them. I'd rather let my son buy an extra snack at school and save the money.

Is anyone else remotely surprised that the Houston Texans have the 5th-best odds?
