If everyone is on the Jets, why is the line so low?

Surely it can't be this easy, right?

If I play this game I'll take Miami just because NY looks like easy money.

The Jets are playing bad but Miami is horrible and is without their starting QB.

I'm aware of how close recent meetings were but this Miami team is a lot worse.

I feel like the Jets should be -10 at least.

You are right. Line opened at -9.5 . But its just been to easygoing against the Jets so it got taken to 6.5 before going up to 7.

Miami is not that bad of a team, they just have a sorry ass coach! Jets are pretty lousy as well. My theory is when two sorry teams play you have to take the points and IMO 7.5 points is simply too much for Sanchez and company to cover. It's either Finns +7.5 or no play. GL fellas

I'm waiting out. I figure I might get Miami +8 or +8.5 by kickoff.

Everyone loves the Jets and the books know it yet they set the line low.

It's Monday night football and there will be a lot of action on this game.

Typically under these conditions it's best to play the less obvious side.

I don't see how anybody can play anything without knowing if Daniel Thomas will play tonight.

Everyone was on Detroit last week vs Chicago. They covered. (By one yard)

People act like the Jets lost to some bad teams or something. Really, they've done what was expected.

Beat Dallas at home and crush Jacksonville.

Sanchez plays well against bad teams.

The only reason I would take Miami is because of that whole winless team after a bye week thing. Didn't work against Green Bay yesterday, but it damn sure was close, and I bet that doesn't happen twice in the same week.

    Tough call here.

I would rather lose small on Miami the lose big on Sanchez.

It seems like every time I up my bets I lose but when I take ugly teams like this small I win.

    We shall see.

I'm a Miami fan, and we stink. But... I think Miami + the points is probably the right play, even though I'm going to lay off this one.

It's scary that everyone is on the Jets. Sharps, squares, everyone. And this being a Monday night game. Las Vegas usually gets the last laugh. I could see a backdoor cover here.

I think Jets moneyline is the safest play. I'm on it small. I don't see them losing outright. Good luck, everybody!

Opened at 6 last Sunday but went almost straight to 9. Then got bet down to where it is today.

I'd be careful either way with this one either way folks. Some sharps are looking for a middle.

I understand what you're saying, but a lot of people are scared to lay so many points with the Jets given their record, hence the "safe" ML bet.

I tend to agree. I did the old 3 team 10 point teaser at bookmaker using these, but for a small amount just to give me something to root for tonight. I almost played the Dolphins earlier this week when the line opened so high but I chickened out. If I had to make one normal play though, the Fins would be it.

I did play Holmes over 4 catches, though.

I can't believe it. All of these games look way too easy and they are. Who is setting these lines? Vegas needs to fire them. LOL.

As for this game, I'm glad I laid off and lost my money on hockey. I took 3 favorites and so far every underdog in pucks has won. There is more parity in hockey than any other sport but underdogs have been winning all season so I figured the favorites were due for a goodnight. I guess I was wrong. Here is a hockey tip, blindly bet unders and underdogs.

I also did an 8 team parlay for a few bucks and I've lost every game. The last three bets are Miami +7.5, Phins/Jets o 41.5, and the Sharks. It's looking like every play on the parlay is going to be wrong. LOL. I should get something for that.

I could be hurting if I had bet all of those games. I'll take my three hockey losses, provided Edmonton and San Jose don't come back and call it a night.
