It was so funny on the play before. The running back stopped right on the 45 yard line so he wouldn't make the FG anything less than 63 yards.

I enjoy watching Janikowski kick. He the laces off the ball. Also like the fact the Raiders let him kick one from damn near anywhere 50 yd line in.

It'd be better if he didn't play for the Raiders. Great kicker though!

I remember watching him at college and saying to myself, "that guy is going to break the NFL record some day". Like another poster said, too bad he plays for the Raiders.

You guys are too young to remember Chester Marcol the Polish Prince kick for the Packers in the 70's.He was a soccer player born in Poland to Commie parents where his dad blew his head off in front of him I guess.Somehow as a kid his mom made it to Michigan. He ended up going to little Hillsdale college and he would kick looooooonnng field goals there. He would come close to making insane 75 yarders and in practice would kick them that far.He had so much distance on kickoffs when he made it to the NFL that the rule to make kickoffs longer was instituted because of him.Like Janikowski,he was an animal where he abused drugs, alcohol and beat his wife.etc.He tried killing himself right after no NFL team wanted him anymore by drinking Drano. He didn't succeed and he's now remarried living about 100 miles north of Green Bay in Michigan's U.P.You see him at Packer oldtime reunions wearing number 13 at Lambeau alot.

If you watch some soccer games a few goalies can punt the soccer ball 80-90 yards. I think if you have a strong leg with practice you will figure out how to kick a football. The technique is much the same you just need to work on accuracy and timing.

I swear I seen hue Jackson say go backwards to McFadden as he came off the field. I think he wanted to break the record.

I watched him like 10 times on dvr, do not know what else he could have been telling McFadden.
