WEEK 1:
I will Be taking the Arizona Cardinals over the Carolina Panthers
My pool is a bit large, I favor taking a less than great team early to leave more options for later weeks, if there is a good match up!
-Cardinals open at home
-Kolb is gonna throw the ball to Larry Fitzgerald down the field who looks nasty (larry)
-Arizona's defence should be ready capitalize on mistakes made by the rookie Cam Newton.
-What it is all gonna come down to is that Cam Newton will have to win his very first game on the road against Kolb, Larry Fitzgerald, Beanie wells and the arizona defence....

Patriots over the Dolphins
and Chargers over the Vikings

WEEK 2!
Its nice to survive week one but my pool(s) are far from over! I was able to get a win with both of my picks (Arizona,Houston) and am ready to put up my picks for week 2!
1st Pick, STEELERS!
-Looking to bounce back in a big way after a very ugly loss to the Ravens
-Have you seen the spread?
-The Seahawks are terrible, and on the road...
-Steelers Defense have been embarassed and I expect them to take it out on T.Jackson in a big way!
2nd Pick,PACKERS!
-Cam will not look as good playing against the Packers D
-Rodgers should have no trouble lighting up the scoreboard here...
-I actually like the Packers on the road.

WEEK 3!
Week 2 is over! I still have both pools alive and well.
Chargers!!!
-Look at the spread...Vegas does the work for you here, laying 16 points...
-K.C. looks terrible
-Jamal Charles is out...
-Chiefs have very little offense
-Chargers have alot of offense
-my main concern is that they don't defeat themself (ex. week2 pats)
2nd pick-
Steelers!
( this pick is for my 2nd pool as I used them last week in my first pool)
-The spread looks nice...
-Let me point out the obvious, the colts are lost without peyton manning, they might win a game sometime this year but not this week.

Week 4-
#1) Packers
-Opened at -14.5
-Playing very well and at home.
-This could be the first blow out of the year against the lowly Broncos
#2)Saints!!!
- I debated some between the Bucs but I will look to avoid the monday night game and go with the saints
-Saints are clearly the better team
-Jags may have to abandon the run in an attempt to keep pace with the high scoring N.O. offense
-Gabbert will not be able to play good enough to get a win here.
-Saints are loaded on offense and defense looking to capitalize on the rookie...

Week 5!
#2) NY Giants!!!
- I have made this pick in my 2nd pool but I believe it is the besy play available so here it is.
-The spread is -10 and moving a bit...
-The Giants should handle the seahawks who struggle on the road and vs. the g-men...
#1)Saints!!
-I have used this pick in my 1st pool and it was not an easy one to make
- the spread is at -7
- I do not expect a blow out as the panthers are playing well with the rookie Newton but the Saints are loaded on offense and I believe they have the weapons to win on the road.
I debated using NYG for both but after some thought I will go with Saints for #1
The Patriots were given heavy consideration but I do not think they are not the right pick this week... Good Luck!

BALTIMORE!!!
Getting this in a little late, only one pool left for me, good news is most every one in my large pool went out with the Giants as well...
RAVENS, off a bye week at home!!!
Defense is nasty!!!
Texans banged up on both sides of the ball, missing key players!!!
Flacco cant do any worse than he did against the Jets and hopefully will get back on track...

WEEK 8- New York Giants!!!
A Lets pick for me, debated alot between the niners...
-Giants freash off the bye week at home and a heavy favorite
-Tuck back and Jacobs as well...
-Dolplins... yeah... pick something and its going wrong for them..
- Qb playing hurt against a team know for smashing opponent QB's out of the game!
-Bush blaming his team, team blaming Bush...hmmm(bush hurt also)
-Daniel Thomas playing hurt and may not play at all...Conflicting reports.. dont look good either way!
-B.Marshall, league high red zone targets...0 red zone TD's with one total TD on the year...buy plays like a 'monster'
lately been getting yards and mostlikely will but dolphins just really not scoring...
-coach already selling his south florida home...
-and oh yeah.. did you catch them blow 15 point lead with 3 min last week to stay winless?

WEEK 9-Atlanta Falcons...
A Make or break week for me, only 5 left in my pool, was not an easy choice and I expect it to be close, was very conflicted on this one. lots of options like the raiders but missing mcfadden and possibly janikowski I cant go with them when palmer has only looked terrible and oakland loosing alot after bye week....said no to monday night philly game, and I just am not so sure as most are about the Pats and their amazing win streak at home.
-Atlanta coming off the bye with Turner fresh and ready to pound the rock against the Colts terrible run D
-Looking for Matt Ryan to manage the game and make a few throws when it is needed... Colts have been giving it up through the air lately as well
-Indy will play better at home and I expect it to be close but Atlanta is very comfortable playing in tight games and should pull it out.
