    programing languages

    If you had to choose an good language that could help on capping what would it be?
    Or never bother to learn anything, Excel is plenty?

    The programming language behind excel, VBA, is helpful for automating things. You could use R, but that might be overkill, you can do most things through excel.

    You don't need much more than an excel spreadsheet to track your bets and data. Stick with the basics!

    Yes, If you don't have any programming skills the most simple is to use Excel and formulas within.
    If you wish to add something extra just learn VBA to import data from files and to manage it.
    If you have any difficulties, I'll try to check some tutorial for starters. My VBA times over Office Platform are a little gone but I can try to refresh it if needed.
