    Thing is, all 3 teams already in Final Four play great defense. Winner of UNC/Ky will have worst defense of the 4.

    I would not hedge. I would go to Vegas and make a great weekend of it and cheer my azz off.

    If you don't want the 300-1 he should have just bet them to make the Final Four.

    This is a horrible idea. The reason you take a 300 - 1 team is so that you can hedge at the right time. A friend of mine had a futures bet on the Falcons while we were in Vegas in September. He bet $50 to win $7,000. I told him all week to hedge the shit out of the bet where he would have been guaranteed $3k. He wouldn't. I begged him at halftime when the Patriots were 25 to 1 to at least lay $200 and he would be guaranteed either $7k or $5k but he was sipping champagne and did not want to jinx his beloved Falcons. Well we all know how that ended up. Stupid is as stupid does.

    Shouldn't be that high. Probably like 4 to 1. Gonzaga is -300 against USC but if they beat the Zags they might be favored over UNC/Oregon.

    You could probably do something exotic like make an open 2 teamer parlay with Gonzaga and then the winner of Oregon/UNC. Maybe even some sort of teaser.

    When I first read this I thought that would be the best way to go, but if USC lost then you have to make another pick for the final AND bet the other team straight up.

    I saw that, I think you are still better off playing them on the ML and let it ride in the next two games for even better odds if you think they can win it all..
