That may be the most ridiculous line I've seen this season. I was thinking it would be +6 or +7 and was stunned to see it as a +13 spread. I wonder what the oddsmakers see that I don't?
The Tarheels haven't looked very good in their first two games in the ACC against weaker competition and should honestly be 0-2 right now. The Wolfpack took a shot in the mouth at Miami but responded with putting on a show verses Va Tech. They are starting to look almost unstoppable on offense now that they have everyone playing. Theo Pinson is making his season debut but I don't see that as a major factor in the game. All in all, I think State possibly even has an advantage in talent.
This could be one of the best games of the young season. Both teams score at a high pace and have defensive issues. Smith Jr. and Berry will be a blast to watch. Neither team has any clear cut advantages besides UNC playing at home and all the home cooking they get. Still, this is a rivalry game and the teams are about as equal as they have been in a while so I expect a game where both teams are in the 90s and it's a back and forth war.
