Several Reports State That Harrison Twins Applying For Draft

Multiple reports indicate twins Andrew and Aaron Harrison, both former stars locally at Travis High School, will forego their final two years of college eligibility at Kentucky to declare for this year’s NBA Draft.
Both averaged over 25 minutes of playing time, contributing for a Kentucky team that stayed unbeaten until falling in the Final Four to Wisconsin. Andrew Harrison averaged 9.3 points and 3.6 assists. Aaron Harrison averaged 11.0 points and 2.6 rebounds.
Draft Express’ latest 2015 mock draft has Andrew Harrison going in the second round, 53rd overall. Aaron Harrison is not listed currently in either Draft Express’ 2015 or 2016 mock drafts.
Both starred at Travis High School, becoming McDonald’s All-Americans in 2013 prior to their days at Kentucky.

No surprise. D-Leaguers, 2nd string at best.

If i was them or atleast the one that got in some trouble i would stay another year and work on my size and strength and image.Plus youll never get a shot at a title again if yuo go into the draft.

Clearly they do not follow Draft Express.

On a side note, DX now projecting Karl Anthony Towns to go #1...

Not sure I would agree with this. But wtf do I know.

Mark Cuban came out today bitching about the college game, and how these kids aren't ready when they come out.

"If they want to keep kids in school and keep them from being pro players, they're doing it the exact right way by having the 35-second shot clock and having the game look and officiated the way it is," Cuban said Wednesday night. "Just because kids don't know how to play a full game of basketball.

"You've got three kids passing on the perimeter. With 10 seconds on the shot clock, they try to make something happen and two other kids stand around. They don't look for anything and then run back on defense, so there's no transition game because two out of five or three out of five or in some cases four out of five kids aren't involved in the play.

Even @ Kentucky a player has to go to class and keep a nominal GPA to play the following year.
For the 1 and done guys, a coffee and a donut get you through the first semester and into the tourney.

Do you think with the current rules in place, after declaring, these 2 are even in the state let alone in class??

They would have never made the NBA even if they stayed in college another 2 years. Too slow and not athletic enough. Neither can play PG and neither shoots good enough to play the 2.

I won't be surprised if they don't even make an nba team. Worst decision possible to leave now.

Last year they were first rounders, in 3 more years they're more developed and polished(with a degree). Now theyre lucky to make a team

Look at it this way, starting this early, think of all the new sets of twins that will be born to single mothers in NBA cities across the nation.

Whats funny is that without the one and done rule, they likely would have been more highly touted prospects in the NBA draft. Somehow playing college actually hurt their pro prospects. One of the brothers, I don't remember which was like the 5th highest ranked prospect in his high school class. The four guys in front of him? Wiggins, Jabari, J.Randle and Aaron Gordon...

You would assume he would have been a first rounder coming straight out of HS. Now with two years of college experience under their belts and some pretty clutch shooting I might add, they will both be lucky to end up on an NBA roster.

So then do they offer themselves as a twin tower package deal to the same team or what?

Screw the Harrison twins I hope my Wolves end up trading back in to mid 1st round to draft Tyus Jones to bring him back home to Minnesota and pair him up with either Towns, or Okafor with their lottery pick.

    K.A.Towns - DeMarcus Cousins
    Andrew Harrison - Shaun Livingston
    Aaron Harrison - Quincy Acy
Willie Cauley Stein - Joakim Noah
    Dakari Johnson - Carl Landry
Devin Booker - Klay Thompson (love this kid, will be a steal in the draft)
    Trey Lyles - John Henson

They will do better than any think I believe. One seems to shoot quite a bit better than the other, but if they can really handle the ball and can truly uphold playing the point then there are many teams that will want them. I wasnt high on Exum after watching much tape before the draft and look at him. They were in a structured system at UK and didnt have free reign, with more leeway I think you will hear alot of good talk coming out of summer ball.

You have to be kidding me. These two clowns are 2nd rounders at best and will be D-League players.
