Hey guys - haven't posted on here in a while, but I need some help and thought this would be the best place to come.
I'm currently in a NCAA March Madness bracket pool and have a chance to win $2,500 on a $20 entry. In order to win, I would need the following:
Duke over Michigan State
Wisconsin over Kentucky
Wisconsin over Duke
If any other outcome occurs, I walk away with nothing, so I'm looking for a way to hedge. Ideally, I would like to guarantee myself around $1,000 if I get to final with both Duke and Wisconsin in it, which I would be able to do with a simple hedge bet on Duke (assuming they would be an underdog if Wisconsin knocks off Kentucky).
However, I would like to guarantee some profit regardless of the Final Four outcomes, but I'm having some trouble thinking of what to do that would make the most sense. My biggest dilemma is obviously the Wisconsin-Kentucky game. My hedge is on Kentucky, but they're such a large favorite that I would have to risk a large amount on them.
I'm open to any suggestions and appreciate any help. Thanks!
