    Anyone who takes cavs over Boston if they play in a series does not know anything about the association.

    The cavs are a tired worn out act. James is not resting much. The cavs will be outcoached so badly. Lue is an amateur compared to Stevens.

    The playoffs are all about "star" players and the Celtics don't have one. Thomas and Horford are 2nd tier players at best. In the playoffs you need players that can flat out take over a game like Lebron or Kyrie.

    If they happen to pull off cousins for picks? I think that makes them the favorite or even with the Cavs. That is NOT a good matchup for the Cavs over a series. And what are the odds that Love and Kyrie are healthy in East finals?

    Cousins is a top 10 player so obviously it will change things.

    The east is better than anytime in the last 8 years. That is indisputable. The cavs will get a tough second round this year. They will not be cake walking to the finals.

    Point being that futures value is about 2 things... Injuries and trade bait & cap room. Both are very much in Boston's favor when talking Celts/Cavs.
