Jeff Hornacek to coach the New York Knicks...

Poor Patrick Ewing. Seemed like an obvious fit in New York.

This is a surprising pick, but Horny can coach.

Nice job Giant..was ready to "break' this BIG news 6 minutes later.

All I can say, in the immortal words of Clubber Lang, "I pity the fool". Pooor Jeff, no win situation.

Knicks are a shit show, and my beloved Celtics are going to stomp them for for the next decade.

better than hiring Rambis. Vogel and Blatt don't know the triangle either. would've liked to see Mark Jackson though.

either way, Phil likely returns to Lakers after next season.

Patrick will never be a #1. No way, no how. All heart, very questionable intellect. Besides the dude beat me in the states by 2 points.

Normally I would get excited about this, but he hasn't really excelled in New York. Some of that may have to do with Dolan.

Isn't this supposedly Jimmy's "last season to turn things around"?

Stephen A Smith loves burying this guy. It's like all he talks about when it comes to the Lakers. Seems a little overblown.

    Nice.

We'll have Phil, Jeannie, and Luke all working together.

It's like getting the old band back.

We just need to get out of Odom out of rehab and Bynum with some new knees, and the circle will be complete.

Giant. 1981 Massachusetts State Tournament.71-69 Cambride,Ringe & Latin beat Lexington HS.
I dropped 26 as a junior 2 guard. They demolished the next 2 teams they faced to win the States.

How many games is a coach worth? Is there a coach on the planet that would have got the Knicks 10 more wins this year? I couldn't believe the McHale firing this year. The owner should be fired! he cost that team 10 wins by being in a panic over a rough start! The new blood theory did not work either.

0f all the former players to inexplicably paw the side of their face while at the free throw line, Hornacek represents the one with the most head coaching potential.

fyi there's a perfectly logical reason for him having done that; he said it's to remind him of his family -he was raised by a pack of wolves

This could have been Shaw's job, if things didn't go so catastrophically wrong in Denver. He had two stars Lawson & Faried and well...

Knicks fans are getting a hot new addition this offseason, and it isn’t presumptive new head coach Jeff Hornacek. It’s his daughter.

A former USC sand volleyball player, Abby Hornacek currently reports for Fox News San Diego, and has covered the NBA’s Summer League, which kicks off this July in Las Vegas.

When she isn’t hitting the court with her proud pop, the costume fanatic is playing dress-up with her gorgeous gal pals (hello, Britney Spears schoolgirl ensembles).

Hornacek has been linked to former USC quarterback Anthony Neyer for several months. The signal-caller tried out for the Redskins last spring, but he seems more preoccupied with his fair-haired leading lady.

Ahead of Hornacek’s graduation, the couple cozied up for a sweet snap in front of a Ferris wheel at the Stagecoach Festival in Southern California.

Stay tuned, courtside selfies with Spike Lee could be next.
