Well thankfully I couldn't play em. Celtics up by 20 at the half, Pacers up by 19

Celtics should've covered -12.5 all day but it's just been the way the season has gone. Mercifully they could win by at least 4 after leading by 16 with 4 minutes to go. Pacers were an easy winner too.

Like Portland a bit tomorrow. That game has potential between 2 really hot teams.

Nice hit on the C's. Yea that game is pretty big for both teams even though it's non conference. Raptors can make up a game on Cavs after they lost tonight and Blazers fighting for a playoff spot.

Ha I just asked you about the game in your thread. Yeah I guess Toronto is probably going for #1 at this point. Even though they are streaky and could end up letting a team or 2 back into the race for #2 but they have a nice cushion. Do they finally win a playoff series this year?

I think they'll probably end up in the ECF. They need that #1 seed bad. It's their only chance to beat the Cavs. I could see them pushing Cleveland to 7.

Nice hit on Celtics. Too bad the Blazers vs Raptors game isn't on TNT tomorrow, instead we are stuck with the Lakers. Blazers have been hot, I know they haven't beaten anyone during the streak but they are playing real good ball. I still don't know how good Toronto is, they just beat up on the weak Eastern Conference.

Can we really call the East weak anymore though? There aren't as many elite teams as in the West but does anyone flat out stink except the Nets and the Sixers? The Raptors have beaten the Spurs, Thunder, Clippers (twice), Cavs, they've played the Warriors close twice... I'd say their record isn't a fluke.

But let's remember 2 years ago they had a similar run after the Rudy Gay trade, and last year they started out really hot as well. But in both occurrences they either peaked too early and weren't playing their best ball when it mattered or just flat out didn't rise up to the level of play required for the playoffs. They'll probably have homecourt for a 3rd straight year this year but might also face a stern test in the first round with a team like the Heat or Pacers. It will be interesting for sure.

Sorta getting second thoughts on Portland but I feel like this could have a shot. I actually have leans on all 4 games (Blazers, Pelicans, Suns, and Knicks) but just can't get myself to play any of them yet. I'll probably like tomorrow's card better.

Portland only +200 ml live so I'm in a good position in theory. Still a lot off work to be done though.

They will have another tough test in the playoffs. They are a good regular season team. The problem is they are so dependent on Lowry and Derozen. Once playoffs roll around, those guys are so tired and spent, that they get shut down. Unless Ross and Patterson start to play consistently and give Lowry and DD a break down the stretch, they will be in trouble again. Unless MU pulls a trade for Morris or Tucker, their playoff success looks bleak.

Yeah I think the first thing you said is the key. Right off the bat there's a decent chance they're playing a good, seasoned playoff team. However, which is equally possible if they play someone like the Pistons, Celtics, or Hornets, then certainly it would be a travesty for them not to win that.

Would Morris be good for this team? You never hear of any locker room trouble in Toronto, wonder if they would change his "team cancer" reputation or if he would have a negative influence on the team.

Interesting card today. Do Hawks get revenge from last week? Already down 0-2 in the series. Spurs are short handed tonight, getting 7 at home seems like a no-brainer even if DWill doesn't play. Why is the Philly line so short? Why are Hornets favored by 3.5?

I want to take the Mavs, it seems like the Spurs are "beatable" right now and the game should at least be close particularly as a National TV game, but there's one major problem we all know about being that the Spurs absolutely own the Mavs since 2012. Carlisle can gameplan for a lot of offenses and try to hide the Mavs' defensive flaws against many teams, but not against the Spurs. Maybe the Spurs are also relieved their nemesis Jason Terry left right when that streak started.

The Wizards are shit, tbh I'm not really surprised by the line. The Hornets are finally getting most of their guys back but I would agree I expected the line to be quite a bit shorter, maybe -1/-1.5. Don't really have a lean on either of those games.

I want to take Chicago but I'm very confused by the line. Feels like they should be -3 here even if Pau doesn't play. They haven't been playing well but for instance the Pacers weren't playing well either when they came to Mile High and they were -2.

Ultimately, I'm not sure I have a play tonight. lol.

Another fun play. Take the Pacers+6.5 live, only for live betting to freeze and they tell me my bet wasn't confirmed. The line comes back out at 5.5 a few seconds later, I take it anyway, and guess what, they lose by 6. This after being up with 4 minutes and change to go in a game that was close throughout.

This is almost getting funny. It's probably my 10th loss by the hook this season. The sad thing is that's not even an exaggeration.

Dallas just can't compete against the Spurs. It's the same thing every time. I think the only regular season games they've won over the Spurs the last 4 years have been one where Pop sat everybody and that one game that I went to. Clearly I need to go to more games.

Let's see what this team has... In the words of Thibs... They still have more than enough to win. Especially against one of the worst teams in the league coming off their best win of the season.

Pau is in as well. Bulls funnily enough don't do that badly without Butler. They drilled the Cavs without him last year just before the All Star break. Rose is starting to look more like Rose. I like my chances as long as they feel like competing today, which is never a guarantee with this team unfortunately.

Starting to seriously wonder if I somehow pissed off the gambling gods or something. It doesn't seem possible for anyone to have this much HORRENDOUS luck over the course of an ENTIRE season.

How does this fukking team blow a 5 point lead and the ball with 2 minutes to go against the damn Timberwolves? I've seen this Timberwolves team melt down the stretch of games time after time after time and today everything Wiggins threw up went in in the last couple minutes. Seriously seriously getting tired of this shit.

I honestly think that with just "normal" luck I'd have 50 units more than I do now. With "good" luck I could have about 100. It's just ridiculous. I mean the only thing I can say to make myself feel the world isn't against me is to remind myself I once won 16K on a fluke. But that was nearly 2 years ago.

Knicks probably a play tomorrow. It looked to me in a few recent games that they had quit and firing the coach is not a bad thing. If they get Thibs they'll be a team to ride post-break for sure. Nobody maximizes average talent better than Thibs.
