Whats with NBA coaches and execs and all the Kiss and Tell?

Phil Jackson has interventions with Shumpert and JR Smith about their troubles. Then after he's rid of them he trashes both and shares their private conversations.

"He was supposed to carry the scoring load for the second unit and he wasn't doing the job. I also said that because of his unacceptable behavior, he had two strikes against him with this team. He didn't really respond. He's a very sensitive guy, with his big doe eyes. He looked like he was going to tear up. But he finally responded that he was going through some issues with his gal."

"I asked Fish what players were the biggest distractions. He said that although J.R. never talked back to him, he always walked around under a dark cloud. Derek was worried that negative energy was contagious.

He spills the beans on his coach's thoughts, his players, and that one of them was near tears. I really think Phil wrote those tell all books after Lakers/Bulls runs and thought he'd never work again. He must have been laughing when job offers still came in.

That's just another reason to respect the San Antonio Spurs and how they handle their business.

Today we got the Nuggets trashing Ty Lawson trying to make their trade and their mgt look better.

“Ty … there were times when he was better than others. But the problems have been there for several years, going back to when we were having a lot of on-court success. I don’t want to go back too far. There were just a lot of times where you were at practice and you just know. You could smell it. You know there is probably deeper issues than he would probably let on.”

With the exception of the Pistons in '04 and this year's Warriors (check back in 20 years, Curry is on track), what championship team didn't have hall of fame players?

they have to do it to justify it to the fans so bad teams cant still get stupid people to buy tickets to their shi.tty games. Look at the 76ers spinning it year after year after year and the dummies believe its going to amass to this dynasty team. So retarded

Yea the whole league is like reality TV. Coaches bitch that its a players league and they arent actually in charge but its no wonder. Phil Jackson should be raked over the coals. He must have too much power.

How many finals did curry play before kerr coached him?

Jj seriously you need to reevaluate your thought process.

Great coaches build a strong structure/system that allows these stars to succeed.

Wow, that's harsh, but PJ does have a history of spilling locker room talk, and Smith did ask for it with his taunting of the Knicks in the playoffs with his one man's trash is another man's treasure tweet.

PJ is doing a fine job in NY. Next move for him is to trade Anthony for some high end picks. Needs to get rid of the triangle too.

OK first, Smith saying what he said is completely different than the BS that is coming out of the GM/owners mouths these days. The owners have become the whiny little premadonnas and the players have become the respectable professional adults.

next, LOL with Melo getting traded. Even if NYK wanted to (he is that hope the idio....fans need to buy tickets), who would take him?

Who would take Anthony? Is this a joke?

It's more a question of when, not if... wizards/ hornets/ bulls/ raptors/ nets/ rockets/ thunder/ warriors/ kings/ mavs would be interested. Just a matter of which team can offer the best package. Next summer maybe.
