Is there a team more stacked with potential than the Milwaukee Bucks?

Man they are putting together a young and talented roster that should be very good one day.

Next year their starting five will probably be:

    PG - Michael Carter Williams
    SG - Khris Middleton
    SF - Jabari Parker
    PF - Giannis Antetokounmpo
    C - Greg Monroe

If they can keep this team together for a few years I think they will be a force in the east in the next era of the NBA

yeah Monroe is definitely overrated. Plus Bucks missing that 1 leader/superstar type of player that will take them to the next level. They need some veterance presence as well.

Cavaliers a lock to get to the next 3 finals minimum maybe even more if Kyrie becomes the superstar he is expected to be while staying healthy. They are -200 at most places to win it again this year and probably will be around a similar number year after year

Parker, if he recovers fully, is going to be a stud, Monroe is a good player, can't play D, but is a great offense guy. Bucks/Heat are 3A and 3B in the east right now.

eeerrrrrrrrrr.....? WTF? Ok Cavs, Bulls, Hawks, Wizard (not in any order except cavs) at LEAST...THEN Bucks. I would then throw Raptors and Heat depending on off season transactions somewhere in the mess after Hawks/Bulls.

Bucks are talented, but SOOO young. As much as I hate it to admit this experience goes a long way in most things.

If Kidd can be that coach, and they can bring in a couple of strong role models these KIDS will listen to then in a couple of years the Bucks will be competing/over taking a dated Cavs roster...prbly being coached by LBJ by then.

Bucks tried to trade MCW to move up in the draft, they're not completely sold on him. They should've never traded Brandon Wright.

I think Rashad Vaughn has potential to pan out and become a good NBA starter at the 1.

MCW not nearly as explosive an athlete.

experience is the most overrated thing in the world, i hate when ppl bring it up, it means nothing compared to talent, Kentucky as proven that over and over and over again. Hawks aren't a top 4 team in the east, last year was a fluke, Raptors LoL, Wiz LoL.

Yes this is probably true. Wiggins is the one guy in the league right now that you know is going to be a force to be reckoned with in the coming years.

Fortunately he will get the hell out of Minnesota ASAP and sign with the RAPTORS

    He's coming home.

Wolves need to dump Rubio, Rockets could be interested if they don't retain Beverley.

Agreed. I bet they start depending on Rubio less and less this season with other PG options available.

MCW had a good rookie year, but lets be real. Hes not a good shooter and is a bad defender for the length and height. Khris Middleton... lol, they gave him a huge contract before doing anything. Monroe is decent, but led the Pisstons nowhere.

Monroe is a journeyman. Bucks are building a low-level playoff team, NBA's version of purgatory.

    Eventually, maybe.

It's guaranteed he signs at least 1 max extension with Minnesota. I highly doubt he leaves if Towns pans out.

The Bucks are a 4/5 seed.

They need a superstar. They should package some of that young talent for Cousins.

Well, it's still Milwaukee afterall where it's next to impossible to sign the best FA talent. And they still need a new arena. So at least they're building their main product with pretty decent young guys with upside while shedding the older guys. Outside of essentially trading Brandon Knight for MCW, they've done a pretty good job.

What else are they supposed to do? They're already stacked with young guys who can at least play in the league, so tanking would be pointless. Also, by tanking, they completely eliminate themselves from attracting even B-level FA's.

Not convinced about this at all.

I know next to nothing about Parker though. Don't follow college and obviously we didn't see much of him in his rookie year. If he turns out to be some kind of star then maybe.

Good point. NBA teams get stuck in mediocrity and they're so much better off being great or terrible.

Look at Minnesota they tanked and are now stacked unlike the borderline playoff teams that are stuck in mediocrity

Bucks were a lottery team for 2 decades and couldn't get it right, so this plan can't be any worse.
