A Big F-You to ESPN for firing Bill Simmons right before NBA Playoffs !!

Miss his analysis and commentary...NBA playoffs are not the same without him...now I have to am forced to read premature reports from multiple sources...and about how Lebron is playing in a weak conference.....ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

And your website is pile of stinking Manure.....way to go ESPN!!!!!!!

How can you like that arrogant snotty nosed voice that talked down on so many players. You'd think he played the game himself, I always found myself disagreeing with him.

Talk down or speak the truth that most announcers/reporters wont do because they are too busy sucking co.ck

When it comes to Hoops...he is and or was the most knowledgeable person at ESPN...by far...the problem is..he was too smart for his own good...ESPN is about spinning narratives now...and keeping the public entertained.. (See First Take)...they left sports journalism behind years ago and if it wasn't for 30 for 30..started by Simmons, nobody would bother with ESPN...his delivery was probably not meant for TV...but his perspective by way of podcasts and articles...was superior to any other outlet in sports...He does not tow the line...so he had to go...

I'm going to miss his spread picks. It was a risk free way to make some money over the course of the NFL season.

Overall I could see why his writing would appeal to so many. His columns were ok.

    Agreed, Menses

he is tremendous in the Playoffs..

but he ran his mouth, too hard on Goodell
because he is a PATS homer... and he really wanted the Deflagate
    but to go away

after it was news that Brady was going down, and totally busted, he was just
defending his team (like any homer would)

however, he just has too much of a podium to go off like a homer.
And he needed to show restraint, which he did not.

but was not the first time. and i think he just assumed that ESPN
would not do that, and they did

lesson learned. he knows enough to coach.

Yep....I am of the opinion that his Godell rants sealed his fate...." The Shield " will not tolerate insubordination from ESPN...lol.....
