My Spurs got spanked yesterday badly what the heck happened?

I would like to see some input.

It was a close game through the first half.

    What the heck happened?

They have no answer for Blake Griffin. Pop will attack him in the paint and try to get him into foul trouble game 2 because that's the only shot they've got at neutralizing him.

I think you are right. Blake went on a terror run last night.

I think Pop needs the big boys Splitter and Duncan to stop him in the paint.

Plus the Spurs were missing a few shots in the beginning of the game.

Deandre Jordan is the difference. Clips played good D, guarded the perimeter well, Spurs overmatched inside, they can't score inside, they need to find a way to neutralize Jordan or get him in foul trouble.

    Spurs are done, bud..
no way they make it out of the first Round..

impossible for them to make the Finals, three years in a row
they are pooped, they want it to end.. i expect this series will go 5 games..
    not more

going to the Finals last year was their first ever repeat appearance in the Finals
if that is the case.. then appearing thrice.. is.. how long are the odds?

don't get me wrong. great team great coach, Hall of Famers (many of them)
but this Spurs dynasty/team is history.

great work though. cheers and kudos

You always talk as if you know everything. I hope you eat your word after this series.
    Done my ass!
Spurs were beaten by the better team in game one. I wouldn't say they are done just that they are playing a motivated, very good Clippers team in the first round.

3 out of 5 of their title runs started with a loss in the playoffs..if that makes you feel any better.

    Thanks you made my day.

I can bet Coach Poppovich stayed up watching the game film for quite some time before getting any sleep!

Its one game so they have plenty of chances to come back.

Having said that, boy did they look outclassed for most of the second half.

    Yep they did look outclassed.

We just need to win one at LA.

That's the 3rd game in a row now that they have just been sloppy as hell. Parker was a big problem, just doesn't seem all there offensively. Diaw and Green were just as bad.
