Does anyone look at the Indiana Pacers win total and just want to POUND the over?

33 wins? In an awful Eastern Conference?
I dunno, I understand George is done and Stevenson is gone but that still seems kind of low to me.
Hill will step up, West has always been a tough competitor.
I gotta think Scola is gonna be a weapon this year and get a lot more minutes.
    Miles isn't bad either.

Not to mention they have one of the best coaches in the NBA still.

Any NBA guys see a reason not to hammer the over this year?

Benny, no paul george no lance stephenson.

We saw how good Hibbert was last year.

Hill and West are the real only options (don't know rest of the lineups, cj watson?) But come on, the East actually took a step forward last year. Other teams other than the "power" ones played decent for once. Washington/Orlando/Charlotte/Toronto/Atlanta/Chicago/Cavs/Heat/Nets/Knicks are all better than the pacers. Boston can play them well. Detroit can play them well. Looking like the only "easy" wins for them will be philly and milwaukee (who knows, they have talent and athletes)

I think the 5-10 teams in the East will all be pretty competitive this year, Chicago/Cavs/Washington/Charlotte/Atlanta will be in, I believe...Then the next 5 teams could all be decent. I don't see Indiana close to those teams.

Yeah to be honest I think Indy will have a hard time reaching 33 wins. It's not the Pacers of two years ago.

They seem like one of those teams that will overachieve in patches but ultimately that suck.

33 is a bit low though. I think they could win about 36.

I could see them winning way fewer than 33 games in order to tank and getting a high pick to combine with Paul George for a quick rebuild.

not really. The loss of Lance Stephenson is HUGE. IMO he is the most underrated player in the NBA and the Hornets are now the 3rd best team in the East.

5-14 down the home stretch isn't out of the question though. But now in the playoff chase and other teams seem to be faulting and the chance to possibly get George back if they have a shot at playoffs could make this team put up a good effort.

It was funny how at the All-star break the media was hammering the franchise for wanting George to make it back before the season ended, and had them virtually non-existent for a playoff chance.
Coach of the year candidate behind Jason Kidd or Buttholster.
