    open fractures such as this are extremely complicated thus the priority is always to save the limb first in the most rudimentary way possible. this will be handled by a team of trauma surgeons - "sports specialists" won't have a place nor will they be consulted.

    I was wondering if there was a difference? It was definitely caused by the stantion. If he doesn't run into that he's fine. They gotta look into that. International players don't fly like these NBA guys. They need more landing room.

    I always noticed that NBA hoops have tons of crap near the landing spot. You always see guys crashing into cameramen and other things. Should be totally cleared out, surprised more collisions dont happen.

    Not sure ankle is worse. Depends how "clean" the break is. This kind of injury hasn't happened that often, but when it has the recovery has been pretty iffy.

    you shouldn't be so cavalier about this. again, the only priority right now is to save his leg - that's the only goal of the trauma surgeons. any potential future as an "athlete" isn't even on the discussion list right now and isn't of any concern to anyone involved.

    I broke my tibia a couple yeas ago. Took pics of the bone out of the skin, pretty sick. Didn't go through the therapy 100% like I should have! now have hard time playing racquetball like I used to.
