My biggest wager of the WNBA season so far
Phoenix Mercury ML over Minnesota. This is actually the 3rd or 4th WNBA play I'm making on the year and the previous plays have all been actual plays more than anything. Phoenix on a 16 game winning streak, looking to break the record of 18 by LA. Phoenix will likely be favorites as gametime approaches so take them now if your gonna bet it. 2 unit play on Phoenix ML.

I was just kidding about the whole write up/matchups thing. It's WNBA, I'd be a bit worried if you did give one. Gl on the play.
And Minnesota has won 7 straight, only lost 1 at home all year, and it's only in the last 2 games that the whole team is healthy. I know the line moved for Phoenix, so i'm probably going to hold off for in-game unless it starts moving the other way, but I still have a feeling that Minnesota is going to thrash them and end their streak.

Griner starting to have major impact just with her height
Maybe, one thing is for certain, it will be Phoenix vs Minnesota in the conference finals and the winner will win the finals. Without the injuries earlier this year, Minnesota would probably have just as good a record as Phoenix and, as is, they are not far behind.

Minny has won 9 in a row at home and 7 in a row overall, not to mention they were in the last three WNBA finals and won the championship last year and 2011. They also have the best player in the WNBA, Maya Moore. They were missing one of their best players (Simone Augustus) until 2 games ago (and others earlier in the year) and still they are 20-6.

I still think the Griner factor is too much as long as she stays out of foul trouble
She does not even have to score a lot..just be in middle and cause trouble
Minnesota back to a 1.5 point favorite as they should be at home. Pounded 1st half Lynx +.5 while it was still up there. EDIT: Lynx now -2 almost everywhere

Regardless of the outcome, this is the worst bet ever: Lynx are 12-1 at home, own them 6-1 H2H, also Mercury should come down back to earth and also playing on the road where they are not as good as home...but this is SBR and i'm not surprised at these posts anymore...
