Chandler Parsons Going To The Mavericks

Houston will not match the offer. Why do I have the feeling that there is a trade or two in the Rockets future?

they probably didn't think he'd fetch that kind of money in the open market. After the Hayward deal it was a certain he'd get a lot. Morey gambled, hoping in some sort of perverse way for loyalty, even though he hasn't reciprocated.

    Dallas also signed Richard Jefferson.

That should keep them playing into June.

he would have been overpaid, Rockets aren't gonna contend in the West next season anyway might as well wait for the free agent class of next year and sign a big name in the offseason. Parsons is not gonna get them over the hump.

Morey is having a shitty offseason. Morey just wasted a couple more seasons of Dwight Howard. If Dwight knew that this was the path Rockets were going to take, I'm sure he would have signed elsewhere.

Yeah it is. IMO the Rockets got much more value in Ariza for 4 years 32 million.

Contract is a bit much but the Mavs need him and can afford it. Smart of the Rockets to save the room for next year.

"Honestly, I was offended by the whole process," Parsons told Yahoo! Sports on Monday. "They publicly said that they were going out looking for a third star when I thought they had one right in front of them. I guess that's just how they viewed me as a player. I don't think I've scratched the surface of where I can be as a player and I think I'm ready for that role.

Was he also offended that Houston let him out of the last year of his contract so he could make a shit load of money?

How much Vagisil can you buy with 15 mill a year??

He has his money now. He'll be under the microscope now that he makes more than Dirk. For his sake, he better play like a superstar.

NBA finally starting to have some parity again.

All the Super stars spreading out to different teams which is refreshing.

The big 3 in Miami ruined basketball for about 3 years.

Parsons offended... lol the same guy who takes a picture with the Mavericks owner partying at the club before Rockets deadline to match and let's not forget who he was guarding when this happened to them..

Dirk Nowitzki is a hero and alegend. he single handedly prevented a kobe bryant 2nd 3peat and prevented LeBron from a firdt 3 peat. Game 7 on the road in San Antonio in '06 Parsons what an addition. Mavs 2015 champs.

Nobody can say this is a bad deal for the Mavs, cause they are in win now mode with Dirk. whatever they spend it is for the now. Repercussions don't matter to them.

But they could have spent that money on other bodies. I don't think they have what it takes to win it all with this team.

And the money that Dirk gave up to stay with the Mavs helps as well. Pretty much equals out the slight overpaying of Parsons. The West is gonna be fun this year.

Chandler is a great fit. He is a versatile player, underrated. Plus they have Tyson chandler to protect the paint. This is a really good mavs team

Ricky Ledo could surprise folks and replace Vince's minutes. Loads of talent, just needs some time since he fcked college up.

Bench is weak, their bigs are decent but could use a scorer off the bench. Again, hopefully Ledo steps up.

Yeah, championship is doubtful but top 4 and avoiding the Spurs first round looks doable.

Harris, wright, marion, crowder, smith, etc. is not a bad bench. it is a good combination of vets and athleticism.
