    NASCAR Season 2016 Pick 3

Pick 3 drivers before the start of first practice each race.
Total odds of your drivers must exceed 50/1.
Post current odds and book you see them at when posting.
If more than 1 person picks the winner in their roster, the higher dutched roster odds is tiebreaker.

Just for fun. No entry fee or prizes.

Here's my example for the Sprint Unlimited

    Denny Hamlin +1500 TheGreek
    Joey Logano +1000 5dimes
    Austin Dillon +3000 BetDSI

'Dutching' them means spreading your money across all 3 so your payout is the same no matter which one wins.

ie: Hamlin $33.66 + Logano $48.96 + Dillon $17.37 = $100 risk for a potential profit of $438.60 no matter which of them wins. So the dutched roster odds are +439

    Calculator here if needed: http://www.oddschecker.com/betting-t...ing-calculator

Only taking 2 this week. And betting early as suspect one or both will shorten.

    Atlanta Cup Series.

    Jimmie Johnson +700 $52.94 (Greek)
    Kyle Busch +800 $47.06 (5Dimes)

    $323.53 profit if either win.

Hard to get much of a form read for track with only one truck race in the last 5 years but veteran guys look pretty average historiclly. Crafton 4 top 5s in 14 starts and zero top 5s from Peters and Sauter.

Don't think the Fords have the speed, so that rules out Reddick for me.

Think Suarez odds are not good enough. He doesnt compete for the win enough for me to bet on unless its generous odds.

Think I like Custer and Bell best of the rookies.

Quite a few field guys at the pointy end of practice times too.

Tossing up take either just Custer/Bell for +449 or adding Field as well to make +198 overall

    Matt Crafton +150
    Field (any other driver) +550
    Daniel Suarez +600
    Timothy Peters +800
    Tyler Reddick +800
    Johnny Sauter +950
    Christopher Bell +950
    Cole Custer +1050
    Ryan Truex +1350
    Daniel Hemric +1700
    John Hunter Nemechek +1750
    Parker Kligerman +2750

Bugger it, have to go before quali as sure these two will quali well. So taking the safer option.

    Atlanta Trucks

Field (any other driver) +550 $45.78
    Christopher Bell +950 $28.34
    Cole Custer +1050 $25.88

    $100 to win $197.58

    Xfinity Heads Up Georgia 250
    Sat 2/27 1:45PM

    Kyle Busch +165
    Kevin Harvick +250
    Brad Keselowski +485
    Erik Jones +575
    Kyle Larson +750
    Paul Menard +1400
    Daniel Suarez +1500
    Field (any other driver) +1950
    Ty Dillon +2300
    Brendan Gaughan +4000
    Elliott Sadler +4500
    Justin Allgaier +4500
    Darrell Wallace Jr +6000

Don't think Harvick is going to be a big challenger to KB. Erik Jones and Larson the main challengers I think. BK might also be a danger but dont think he has much for the JGR cars.

Should have just bet Kyle before quali when he was +210

Just going the whole hundred on Kyle Busch +165

    $100 to win $165

Got to be happy with that. Played out like they followed my storyline. Kyle kills em, Larson the only competition and Jones leading the rest of the field over 10 seconds behind the front two at the end.

For trucks I think John Hunter Nemechek +2300 has some value.

He has a fair bit of truck speed. Like his chances a lot better than anyone else over 10/1

Wow. Suarez takes himself and Crafton out when going for the lead.

Cant believe Bell avoided it.. along with everyone else.

Might be good here with 18 to go, if Bell didnt cop damage.

Man, Bell looks set to win with 7 to go and driving away then he has another right front tire explode.

Need the field bet to save me now. C'mon Cameron Hayley.

John Hunter Nemecheck, the good value late call, biggest problem for my field bet I think.

Wow, what sort of idiot is Ratliff not telling Kenseth to pit when black flagged.

I bet Kenseth kicks his ass after the race. It's ok for the driver to get emotional but the CC is supposed to manage that and be the thinking head at all times.

Thought last year when Kenseth took out Logano on purpose that the team should have been trying to cool him down and say dont do it rather than encourage him too.

Pattern of Ratliff not having a cool enough head for the job appearing I think.

Crew chief said he didn't see the flag , he was arguing the penalty when the black flag came out

Yeah I was lucky really. Thanks to Chad really for the early pit call.

And agree about Kenseth. He and Truex were the other two probably better than #48

Won't be leaving Happy out next week for sure.

Man I wish i could be there. I half ass plan a big trip to the US starting with the Vegas race every year and have never done it. Maybe 2017.

But dont get too excited about the good start to the season. I kind of gave up spending 20 hours per week reading about it and watching all the practices so am just having small bets on race winners only based on a little news, a little stats research and a lot of gut feel. Doubt I will do much better than 30-40% win rate over the year. 5-2 is an aberration.

I know they are in good form but this is pretty much JGRs worst track historically so am taking the risk and leaving them out this week.

Like Junior and Truex best, especially at those odds. But had to toss a coin between Harvick and Jimmie for the 3rd one. Almost just stuck to the two Juniors actually...

    Kevin Harvick +500 (Greek) $53.84
    Dale Earnhardt Jr. +1300 (5D) $23.08
    Martin Truex Jr. +1300 (5D) $23.08

    $100 to win $223.08
