No one in anywhere near that good condition!
In 1978 Tom Watson led the money list with a record high $363,429!
Camillo is a real strange dude. Total head case.

They are playing together. They are best friends. I'm pretty sure that's how they got Tiger to even show up. Put him with his buddy and a total no name (Lingmerth) at 8:10. Just a picture perfect draw for Woods. Stricker has a calming effect on Tiger, one of the few on tour that gets along with him.

Tiger looked good in the pro-am, shot -2 for 9 holes with a three putt, but this means nothing. He was playing with rich hacks.
Plus he ALWAYS looks good in practice rounds. He has a new chick too. Good luck with that! Guy is still searching big time.

    I love the play Snow. I can't believe it's only -150.
It's a horrible course for Tiger, you have to hit driver everywhere and there's only two par 5's for him to beat up on. The greens are flat and perfect, mechanical putters can make 10' - 15' footers all day, Tiger is a feel putter and hasn't made a flat 10 footer in 3 years.
Strick hits driver everywhere on every course anyway, is below avg. on par 5's and is probably the best flat green putter in the history of golf. Strick is playing great and Tiger is playing worse than ever in his adult life.

If the line was -250 I would still take Stricker.

thanks for the insight, yy. unfortunately, as of now it appears i should have chosen another play today.
the friend/calming effect must be helping Woods. He is 3 under through 7 while Stricker is par.
I knew there was a risk.. of course we never can tell when Tiger would have a strong outing, even
though there was no indication except talk/speculation that he was much overdue for one.

I told yall during the open it wouldn't take much for him to get it back. Just depends if he wants to work on his game. Looks like he's out some time in. Striped it all day today and yesterday in the pro am.

Paul Casey in a pretty good spot, Kevin Na seems to be having a good start. Paul Casey playing well and could be the most consistent this weekend. Will be checking the Casey numbers after round 1 for sure.

I mentioned him in the last post...Kevin Na could be a contender on the leader board come Sunday. I am eagerly awaiting more lines and look to bet accordingly.

Pinny shows Na -149 vs Charles Howell III, I would look for Na to pack up and move a day early, making his run prior to moving day on Saturday. He could even be tied for or outright in the lead at the end of round 2.

I've got Paul Casey, Kevin Kisner, Bill Haas, and JB Holmes for $115 each. I also have Paul Casey -140 versus Webb Simpson. Hopefully Paul Casey wins the whole damn tournament. lol

Sweet jesus these are longshots in the dark, good luck lotterypick and myself. I like Na's putting stroke it jives with what YY was saying, feel putters miss easy ones all the time.

Picking up Kevin Na at 20-1 and Paul Casey at 17-1, both to win the tournament.

Casey looks too good at 17-1, but I am still looking for some of those value plays to hit.

    What's good snowball?

Jonathan Byrd set to make a run. I forgot it was 4th of July weekend. If you buy any winners from here on out, make sure it's an American.

Well we got screwed here Snow. Tiger hits it on to a street that's 20yards OB on #13 and the ball BOUNCES BACK INTO PLAY? Makes bogey, should have been double. Then he hits it in the water on #17 and makes PAR?

Stricken just chokes his ass off and bogeys #15 and #17 to miss the cut.

I say we fade Tiger again in the third round. He can't get away with that crap again.

The give and take of sports, check out Bohn Bohn now, I guess we were a week early. That means I'm catching up and probably will have an answer for the Open at this pace, just like the US Open. I chose one golfer only for that tournament.

Been playing the golf markets for years, the markets are clearing themselves for an answer again. Good luck, be patient, and stay tuned.

Once again, Jonathan Byrd poised to make run. I know it's little after the fact for today, but it could be a bad idea to bet against Byrd in a match-up during the weekend, he could win this thing. No matter his position after today and the match-up created, I would advise not betting against him in the final round.

I'm on Owen over Byrd today but I'm virtually never in the habit of fading a player
twice in a tournament, one time fade is enough if it wins.
My matchup bets are one-round only or full tournament bets, win or lose.

    tough one-stroke loss yesterday.
    My tally down to +2.81

feel free to keep track of your own bets in this thread anyone.
golf needs discussion or we get lax.

At Greenbrier Scott Brown (-7) has had 6 bogeys. He ranks 91 on tour.
George McNeill (-7) has had 3 bogeys. He ranks 74 on tour.

Going with the theory of 1) bogeys and 2) rank as a consistency meter.
Compared various matchups and arrived at this one.

    Greenbrier Rd 4
George McNeill (-135) over Scott Brown
    1.35/1
    Tee Time 12:15 pm

Lingmerth could be the biggest threat and he's not an American.

Bohn with half a round left though.
