why doesn't some network promote a Tiger vs OJ golf match (surely they'd let OJ out for 1 day with the monies going to pay his civil lawsuit) Tiger would still have to spot him a couple of holes, but this would draw a decent audience and interesting wagering opportunities.

If Tiger doesn't break 90 in a round over the next two months, you can guarantee he'll be at the Masters in April.

Imagine what will happen if you told your boss you needed to take a leave of absence so you can learn how to do your job again.

He may have the "yips" and that could last years. But I tend to agree, Woods could come back with a vengeance.

He is not gone for good because he has too many lucrative money deals

Nobody gives up big money including Tiger Woods

How many are still good over 40?

Tiger just got old like everyone else does. He's just too proud to give in to it... yet.

    Plenty. Isn't Phil 44?

Woods' tratjectory is just so weird. On top one day and then fell apart, only to get it back and then fall again. Don't forget, even though he didn't win a major he was player of the year just in 2013.

I suspect he'll get toward the top again, but who knows, maybe not. Impossible to say.

    Like who?

Vijay Singh is the only golfer to have won a US major at over 40 this century. He was 41. And if you recall people were blown away the 'old bastard' did it.

Just 20 of 216 majors have been won by players 40 and over ever.
