Every significant Prep race since mid FEB and derby and Preakness basically won by favorite or co favorite
in one case a close co favorite. not anything at all close to an upset

would be so ironic, painful, miserable (depending on how you are betting) for the one race that most matters historically to have the favorite not hit the wire first...

Sounds like a trend, eh? ;-)

I'd like to see the odds go down on American Pharoah, i.e. people doubting he will do it. No guarantees of course, but I'm thinking of placing an across-the-board bet (W/P/S) on him - some variant of 30/50/80 should do well....
