Jan 20 - The Daily Breakdown

    YTD (2-0) +2u
    NHL (1-0)
    NBA (1-0)

Big start last night as we cleaned up with both the NY Islanders taking care of business at home and the Cleveland Cavaliers routing the Phoenix Suns. Hope to keep it going tonight!

Chicago Blackhawks vs. Boston Bruins // Jan 20
    Friday night puck
No better way to kick off the weekend than a Friday night game between two Original Six teams. The Chicago Blackhawks face the Boston Bruins at TD Gardens. Both teams are vying to stay in the playoff picture as we head into the second half of the hockey season.
    Flight of the hawks

The Hawks are doing what they’ve been doing for the past decade, winning hockey games. They find themselves second in the Central Division with a 28-14-5 record. On the road this season, the Hawks are 11-9-1 and have won five of their last seven games in general.

    Big Bad Bruins

Its weird to think that a coach who has led his team to third in the Atlantic Division in the Eastern Conference would be on the coaches hot seat. However, that is where Claude Julien Finds himself as the rumours of his imminent departure swirl. The Bruins are coming off a 6-5 shootout loss where they collapsed against the Detroit Red Wings. The Bruins were up 3-0 and 4-1 before crumbling.

This year, Boston is 8-4 as a (-150) home fav or more. They have beaten the Hawks 7 times in their last 9 games vs. the Hawks at home!

    Between the pipes

Scott Darling will start of the Hawks tonight. Against the Bruins all-time, he is 2-1 and has averaged 3.4 goals against. Not the most impressive stat line, however he won his last start when he played agains the Carolina Hurricanes and stopped 39 out of 40 shots.
The Bruins need a big performance and for that they turn to their main man, Tuuka Rask. He has fared well agains the Hawks in the past with a 3-1-1 record and a GAA of 2.36.

    The Final Breakdown
The Line opened up as (-130) for the Bruins and has since moved to a hefty (-170). Although the Bruins have struggled, they need to win one for their coach. However, the Hawks have shown more consistency throughout the season and the value with them as a dog is just too good to pass up.
    Chicago Blackhawks ML (+150) 1u
