    That wasn't aimed at you, just at "the other side" of each winning bet. It's a known fact that over 90%, if not 95% of hobby gamblers do not succeed. The fact that every bet has two sides and that sharp money wins longterm, is the reason why amateur money or hobby money is the source of the majority of the sharp money's profit.

    Again, not aimed at you buddy. I'm talking about college kids, housewives and your typical spots fan who look for added excitement and do so by betting on sport events.

    Technical Trader is right. Although betting is not a perfect exchange, if the majority of money was being bet by profitable sharps, there would inevitably be no value in the lines.

    Well that blew! What was shaping up to be a hell of a night was offset by a blown lead by the Oilers and subsequent shootout loss; a disallowed goal and an unlikely blackhawks overtime loss. On to today.
