Seattle, Vegas, Quebec City, and another Toronto by 2017 In the NHL

Latest reports have said that the league will welcome these in the 2017 expansion. Who would watch games in Vegas? It's all workers and gamblers. Seattle and Quebec City will work. Another Toronto does not make sense.

UNLV football stadium is in a terrible location and its old not to mention a shitty team

The basketball team fills T&M more than 65%

Will see as sounds Like NHL at arena by MGM and an MLS team in new arena being proposed downtown

Indianapolis would be a good place. No matter what sport people always show up. Even our Triple A team has the highest avg attendance in all of the Triple A International league and 2nd most in total attendance.

Even our minor league soccer team in the NASL leads(or a close second unsure) that in attendance. 10.3k a game is pretty impressive for the NASL.

For a small market, we pack the seats well.

It will be cool having a team in Seattle. Vegas will suck though. It will be a circus.

the Houston Rockets owner is probably pissed. he's been trying to get an NHL franchise in Houston for years. that's a slap in the face by giving Toronto a second one.

One Texas team at bottom of attendance rankings is enough

Just what the NHL needs - more players with minor league talent filling out rosters. The best thing that could happen to improve the NHL is contraction and a reduction of regular season games.

Yes I know it will never happen because it is all about. There is no limit to the greed of the owners. I miss the days when hockey was a sport and not a business.

The above poster is right the NHL needs to be getting rid of teams not bringing in new teams. No League needs expansion. The nhl is watered down all ready and way too many games heck we were only about one month away from the new season didn't the old season just get done. Another reason to hate Bettmen. That is coming from a Nhl fan.Plus where are they gong to get new referees from the NHL Is the worse officiated league already.

No way Toronto is getting a 2nd team

Adding 4 teams to the NHL is a horrendous idea. The league needs to be thinking about relocation, not expansion. They did the right thing with the Atlanta/Winnipeg move, very well played. Now it's time to move the Islanders, Sabres and Panthers. These teams don't draw, have less than stellar facilities and haven't produced a consistent winner in quite a few years. Move the Islanders to Quebec City (lost of history with both), move the Sabres to Seattle and move the Panthers to Houston/San Antonio/Milwaukee.

Forget about this horseshit of two teams in Toronto or a team in Vegas.

    The sabres are going nowhere.

Great owner and the fans are amazing there.

Buffalo has 8 straight years averaging over 18,000 fans.

Being a border city certainly helps too with so many hockey fans in southern ontario.

You're right. I didn't realize the Sabres have drawn so well in their down years. I knew they drew well when they were winning, seems like the fan base is solid.

Two whomever commented on the 2 teams in Florida AND Texas....that's the point. Get the Panthers out of Miami and try another warm weather location. Houston has 5x the population that Miami does.

what the hell else they gonna do in buffalo? you think houston cares about hockey cmon...one team in a warm weather state is more than enough. seattle and quebec city should be the only consideration right now imo..win or lose there will be fans
