I'm in search of advice on whether it's possible to hedge a survivor pool in week 17 when I need to make 2 picks. The top prize is $100,000 which will be split amongst those left after the week...currently 12 left. I want to assume everyone picks correctly so worst case pool is split evenly netting me $8,333. I would like to walk away with a minimum of $2K but am unsure the best way to hedge when I must make 2 picks (if it's even possible).


My realistic available picks:
1:00 PM Games
Jacksonville @ Indy (-4.5)
Chicago@ Minnesota (-4.5)
Carolina @ Tampa Bay (-6)
4:25 PM Game
Oakland @ Denver (-2)

Please reply with suggestions on how to make this a profitable survivor pool. Thanks for any and all assistance.

Take Tampa Bay in survival pool, bet 2000 on carolina at +200
Take Minnesota in survival pool, bet 2000 on Chicago at +200

Both Tampa Bay and Minnesota Win, Profit of 4333
Carolina Wins: Profit of 2000, accounting for 2000 loss on Chicago
Chicago Wins: Profit of 2000, accounting for 2000 loss on Carolina
Carolina and Chicago Win: 8000 profit

What about a way to hedge ATS so that their is the ability to win both the pool pick and the ATS pick?

Not without loosening the 2000$ profit constraint.

Parlay ATS Chicago and Tampa bay, Carolina and Chicago, Minnesota and Carolina each for 2000.

You'll make 1000 guaranteed. If your picks win straight up, and don't cover, you'll make 9333.
