should I be using Poisson calculator on total bases props?

Was wondering if I should be using Poisson calculator on total bases props? If player A averages 1 per gm and player B 2; then what should line be? Thanks

I hear the Poisson calculators are top notch. But I just use the solar-powered ones you can buy at the grocery store. Good luck with your baseball bets.

Poisson is effective when calculating units that have single unit increments

The problem with total bases is that more than 1 can be recorded at a time, which lowers the accuracy of the calculation. Still a good tool though.
