NFL Player News - Week 11

    Courtesy of Footballguys.com

CHI - WR Alshon Jeffery suspended four games for PEDs

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery was suspended four games Monday, Nov. 14, for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing drugs.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Wow. That is going to put a damper on some fantasy seasons. The already shaky Bears offense takes a huge hit with this news. Cameron Meredith is going to get a lot of work and Eddie Royal will see more targets if he gets healthy. Zach Miller should also get a healthy workout now. Jay Cutler is going to remain their starter at quarterback, and he will find some favorite to lock onto.

NE - TE Rob Gronkowski could miss Week 11

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski (lung) suffered what is believed to be a punctured lung in Week 10, according to a source. The tight end finished the game, but he could miss the Week 11 contest versus the San Francisco 49ers.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This is always pretty serious, and a further consideration is that most of the time flying is a no-no in the early days of recovery. So unless Gronkowski is going on the most awesome road trip ever, there's a good chance he won't play next weekend. So there's good chance guys like Julian Edelman and Martellus Bennett could go off against a 49er defense.

DEN - QB Trevor Siemian too hurt to play

    Source: 9News.com - Mike Klis

Updating a previous report, Denver Broncos QB Trevor Siemian (shoulder) would not be able to play if the Broncos played Monday, Nov. 14, according to head coach Gary Kubiak. Siemian received an injection in his left shoulder.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Luckily they don't play again until the 27th, so he has time to get healthy. The Broncos are finally starting to look dangerous again but are having to chase the Chiefs and Raiders.

ARI - WR Larry Fitzgerald 'should be ready' Week 11

    Source: AZCardinals.com - Darren Urban

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (knee) is 'sore', but head coach Bruce Arians is hopeful the veteran wideout can practice this week. Arians believes Fitzgerald will be available Week 11 against the Minnesota Vikings.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We'll watch this as the week progresses. The team might be a bit cautious with him, given his age, but Fitzgerald could be a really nice start against a reeling Vikings defense, so we have our fingers crossed.

NE - RB Dion Lewis appears to be fully healthy

    Source: MassLive.com - Kevin Duffy

New England Patriots RB Dion Lewis was inactive for the team's Week 10 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, but head coach Bill Belichick indicated during a conference call Monday, Nov. 14, that Lewis is fully healthy after undergoing two knee surgeries since November of 2015.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We can see the end of James White coming. He's been serviceable for most of the season but he lacks the dynamic playmaking ability that Lewis has. That being said, we have no idea whether or not Lewis is going to be able to recapture that magic after his knee surgeries. We're going to wait and see (and hope), but think Lewis will be the guy in the end. Grab him off your waiver wire and stash him if you can.

SEA - RB Thomas Rawls on track to return Week 11

Source: 710 ESPN Seattle - Liz Mathews

Seattle Seahawks RB Thomas Rawls (fibula) is 'ready to go' and will practice to play in Week 11 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
He could emerge as a force again, given that nobody in the Seahawk's backfield has really done much to separate themselves and take the job over permanently. C.J. Prosise could remain as the primary receiving back when Rawls returns. Add Rawls off the waiver wire if he's out there.

BAL - RB Terrance West still the leader

Source: The Baltimore Sun - Edward Lee

Baltimore Ravens RB Terrance West remains the leader of the rotation in the backfield.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

For what that's worth. While he had a full run of carries against Cleveland, he barely topped 60 yards and he's not involved in the passing game very much. West had three games which gave us hope, but it's been a long time since we felt great about him in the backfield.

DAL - QB Tony Romo remains on the bench

    Source: ESPNDallas.com - Todd Archer

Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo will remain on the bench in Week 11 against the Baltimore Ravens, as owner and general manager Jerry Jones said Sunday, Nov. 13, that QB Dak Prescott will remain starter in Week 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

There's no way we would go back to Romo barring injury or an absolute series of meltdowns. Romo has to be a backup—this is Prescott's team now.

CLE - Robert Griffin should return this year

Source: The Cleveland Plain Dealer - Mary Kay Cabot

Cleveland Browns QB Robert Griffin III (shoulder) is on pace to play again in 2016, according to executive vice president Sashi Brown.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Griffin has a chance to return this year, but we're not so sure the Browns would put him in the starting lineup. The team is going to start Cody Kessler in Week 11 against the Steelers even though the rookie was pulled for Josh McCown in Week 10. Adding Griffin to the mix later in the year could only further complicate things. Honestly, we'd be surprised if he plays for the Browns again.

NYJ - Starter not named yet for Jets

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

New York Jets QBs Ryan Fitzpatrick and Bryce Petty will have to wait another week before knowing who will start. Head coach Todd Bowles said he won't name a starter until Monday, Nov. 21, since the Jets have a bye this week.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Fantasy owners shouldn't be on edge waiting for confirmation either way. The Jets could go back to Fitzpatrick after Petty started in Week 10. Fitzpatrick is dealing with a knee sprain (MCL) and Petty was largely ineffective in the loss to the Rams on Sunday.

CHI - QB Jay Cutler will keep starting job

Source: Chicago Tribune - Brad Biggs

Chicago Bears QB Jay Cutler will remain the starting quarterback, according to head coach John Fox.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Cutler sticks as the starter in what should be his final season with the Bears. He's going to be without star WR Alshon Jeffery (PEDs) for a month, so Cutler will have to find someone else to lock onto. Lord only knows what kind of performances we're in for with games against the Giants, Titans, 49ers and Lions coming up.

MIN - RB Adrian Peterson remains without timetable

Source: St. Paul Pioneer Press - Chris Tomasson

Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson (knee) continues his rehab from meniscus surgery, but head coach Mike Zimmer told reporters Monday, Nov. 14, he has 'no idea' as to whether or not Peterson will play at any point this season.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The backfield is a wreck in Minnesota. And it doesn't look like we can count on Peterson saving the day any time soon. Although he's not counted out just yet.

PIT - WR Markus Wheaton will see specialist

    Source: ESPN.com - Jeremy Fowler

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Markus Wheaton (shoulder) will visit a specialist for his shoulder injury, an injury that Wheaton hopes will not end his season.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Steelers could use the depth behind Antonio Brown, but fantasy owners in shallow leagues can feel free to let him go back to the waiver wire. We'll have more information on the results from the visit in the near future.

ATL - TE Jacob Tamme getting second opinion

    Source: ESPN.com - Vaughn McClure

Atlanta Falcons TE Jacob Tamme (shoulder) will seek a second opinion on his ailing shoulder, according to head coach Dan Quinn.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Tamme was doing well for the Falcons before he got banged up. We'll see if he can get healthy before the end of the fantasy season.

ATL - RB Tevin Coleman expected to return after bye

    Source: ESPN.com - Vaughn McClure

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman (hamstring) will be back to full participation at some point before his team faces the Arizona Cardinals in Week 12, according to head coach Dan Quinn.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

He's going to have a lot of catching up to do to get more of Devonta Freeman's snaps. That said, Coleman was very useful as a mistmatch split out wide as a receiver, especially against linebackers, so he could see targets when he returns.

JAX - QB Blake Bortles to remain starter

Source: The Florida Times-Union - Gene Frenette

Jacksonville Jaguars QB Blake Bortles is in no danger of losing his starting job, according to head coach Gus Bradley.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Bortles has put up some really nice fantasy numbers (mostly in garbage time), but from an actual football standpoint he's been a wreck this season. We're not sure what changed this week other than the fact that there's no point in putting in Chad Henne. Bortles looks like a disaster right now, though, and we're not sure when he will get his mechanics, technique and confidence back, if ever.

BUF - WR Percy Harvin's role expected to grow

    Source: ESPN.com - Mike Rodak

Buffalo Bills WR Percy Harvin will be 'more than a decoy' over the final seven games of the regular season after participating in 21 snaps in the team's Week 9 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, according to head coach Rex Ryan.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We find this hard to believe and consider it "Rex Speak" which we are all familiar with. Harvin has been sidelined since Week 5 of last season. Don't believe the hype.

BUF - WR Sammy Watkins not ready to return yet

    Source: WKBW.com - Joe Buscaglia

Buffalo Bills WR Sammy Watkins (foot) is eligible to return to practice this week, but the team's trainers don't believe he's ready to return yet, according to head coach Rex Ryan.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

They could really use him, but they may need to wait until after the Cincinnati Bengals game. Robert Woods and Marquise Goodwin will continue trying to fill in for him with varying degrees of success.

MIA - WR DeVante Parker earning trust

Source: Palm Beach Post - Joe Schad

Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker enjoyed his best week of practice 'by far' leading up his five-catch, 103-yard receiving performance a Week 10 win over the San Diego Chargers. Parker attributed some of his success to the fact he was healthy enough to play closer to full speed after dealing with hamstring injuries for the majority of the season.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We had expected Parker to have a break out season given that head coach Adam Gase had tapped him to be his slot receiver, a position which had previously sent Gase's players to great heights. That fell by the wayside due to injury and a lack of execution on the part of both Parker and quarterback Ryan Tannehill. He could have another down game against a Los Angeles Rams defense which will get after Tannehill and the continued play of running back Jay Ajayi.

MIA - QB Ryan Tannehill avoiding mistakes

    Source: CBSSports.com - Pete Prisco

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill hasn't thrown an interception since Week 5, which is a span of four games.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

He also hasn't topped 300 yards since Week 3 and has had just one multi-touchdown game in that span as well. The offense has become all about Jay Ajayi, and what was supposed to be a big season for Tannehill is now just another question-mark as the team tries to figure out if he is their future or not.

HOU - WR Will Fuller optimistic for Week 11

Source: Houston Chronicle - Aaron Wilson
Houston Texans WR Will Fuller (knee) is optimistic about returning to play in Week 11 against the Oakland Raiders.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Fuller has had an up and down rookie season, in part because his quarterback has been wildly inconsistent. We don't think he'll be anyone you can rely on this week even if he plays.

Is there really a decision here? Is there any need for him to play against the 49ers?

    Wednesday Update

SEA - RB Christine Michael released

    Source: ESPN.com - Field Yates

Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael was released Tuesday, Nov. 15, according to a source.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This is a strong sign Thomas Rawls is really close to ready. Michael started off the season weakly, then got kind of hot and has since come crashing down to earth. He scored in two of the last three games he played in, but in one he ran five times for one yard. That's not very good. Rawls will step right back into a starting job.

MIN - PK Kai Forbath joining Vikings

Source: Minneapolis Star Tribune - Andrew Krammer

Updating a previous report, free-agent PK Kai Forbath (Saints) is signing an undisclosed deal with the Minnesota Vikings Tuesday, Nov. 15.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

He can't be worse but if he misses an extra point, there might be mass hysteria in Minneapolis.

LA - QB Jared Goff named Week 11 starter

    Source: ESPN - Chris Mortensen

Updating a previous report, Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff has been named the starting quarterback for Week 11 against the Miami Dolphins, according to team sources.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Wow, that escalated quickly. Goff will now have a chance to get some experience in a season which is largely over for the Rams. The future starts now for Los Angeles. We wouldn't put him in our lineups until we see something from him, but at least now we get the chance.

NE - TE Rob Gronkowski has small puncture

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Updating previous reports, New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski (chest) has what has been described to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport as a 'perforated lung.' That is a small puncture, and the prognosis is the same with minimal time expected to be missed.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

News has been all over the place but we do know that Gronkowski canceled a Madden appearance because he can't fly. So now we're back to thinking he might not be in San Francisco with the team this week barring an awesome Gronkowski-Martellus Bennett road trip across America. This could mean Bennett is set for a huge week. Stay tuned.

NE - QB Tom Brady has thigh issue

    Source: WEEI.com - Ryan Hannable

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady (thigh) said he suffered a thigh injury in Week 10, but he expected to play in Week 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We're not worried and we expect him to start scoring touchdowns again after not doing so in the loss to the Seahawks. That was a bug, not a feature.

MIN - WR Stefon Diggs made NFL history in Week 10

    Source: ESPN Stats and Information

Minnesota Vikings WR Stefon Diggs' 13 receptions for 164 yards in Week 10 on Sunday, Nov. 13, entered his name into the record books, as he became the first player in NFL history to record 13 or more catches in consecutive games.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Sam Bradford doesn't always have time to throw the ball, but when he does he throws to Diggs, who has an early ranking as a borderline WR1/WR2 in our early projections. Stay thirsty, my friends.

CHI - WR Marquess Wilson activated from PUP list

Source: 101 ESPN - Howard Balzer

Chicago Bears WR Marquess Wilson (foot) was activated from the Physically Unable to Perform list Tuesday, Nov. 15.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

With Alshon Jeffery suspended, the Bears need depth. Cameron Meredith and Eddie Royal will get most of the targets, with Meredith producing WR3 numbers and Royal a borderline WR3/WR4. Tight end Zach Miller could put up TE1 numbers, however.

TEN - QB Marcus Mariota seeking franchise history

    Source: ESPN Stats and Information

Tennessee Titans QB Marcus Mariota has thrown multiple touchdown passes in six consecutive games, tying him with former QB Warren Moon for the longest such streak in franchise history. Moon accomplished the feat in 1987.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

In point of fact, Mariota has thrown multiple touchdowns in every game save two—Week 2 against Detroit and Week 4 against Houston. He has also only thrown three interceptions in the six-game span. He's becoming more of a regular in our QB1 projections.

CIN - RB Jeremy Hill riding career-long TD streak

    Source: ESPN Stats and Information

Cincinnati Bengals RB Jeremy Hill has rushed for a touchdown in three consecutive games, the longest such streak of his career.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

That was after just three touchdowns in the first six games. With the exception of Week 8 when he saw the ball four times in the red zone, Hill has averaged a pair of carries in the red zone per game. Two of his touchdowns (against Washington in Week 8 and the Giants this weekend) came inside the 20-yard line, while the touchdown against Cleveland was the result of a 74-yard run. We like the trend, but aren't quite convinced it keeps up every week.

GB - WR Jordy Nelson dominating in the red zone

    Source: NFLMedia.com

Green Bay Packers WR Jordy Nelson leads the NFL in receptions (11) and receiving touchdowns (7) in the red zone this season.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Considering how slow he got started this season, this is a good sign that he has 'righted the ship' and will be an active participant in the red zone efforts going forward. He would be back to WR1 status if Aaron Rodgers was playing up to par, which he clearly isn't. Still, Nelson looks like he will be a strong WR2 with a lot of upside on a weekly basis.

NYG - WR Victor Cruz should practice Thursday Source: NJ.com - Jordan Raanan

New York Giants WR Victor Cruz (ankle) is expected to return to practice Thursday, Nov. 17, according to head coach Ben McAdoo.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

With Cruz out, Sterling Shepard and tight end Will Tye had productive games. We think Shepard will continue to be an on again, off again option but Tye is too volatile to trust.

PIT - WR Sammie Coates has two broken fingers

    Source: ESPN.com - Jeremy Fowler

Updating a previous story, Pittsburgh Steelers WR Sammie Coates (fingers) has a broken left ring finger in addition to a broken left index finger.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Ouch. Coates has vowed to play through this injury, but there's just not much fantasy value with him banged up...especially with Cobi Hamilton and Eli Rogers being used more.

CLE - Robert Griffin could begin practicing

    Source: ESPN.com - Josina Anderson

Cleveland Browns QB Robert Griffin III (shoulder) could return to practicing this week, according to sources.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Griffin and Terelle Pryor had a solid connection in the preseason, so we'd like to see this. The Browns quarterbacks aren't getting the job done, so there's room to go back to Griffin. It's a longshot, but in super deep 2 QB or QB-flex leagues go ahead and grab him just in case he actually plays again for the Browns.

WAS - RB Matt Jones far down pecking order

    Source: ESPN.com - John Keim

Washington Redskins RB Matt Jones may continue to be a healthy scratch as the team prefers a back that can perform on special teams, which Jones has not done. 'We're not giving up on Matt,' head coach Jay Gruden said. 'But when you can only dress three running backs, the third one we would like to have some impact on special teams. That's not always going to be the case. Sometimes we may not need our third running back to be on special teams, we can get Matt up.'

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

All fantasy owners need to add Rob Kelley if he's out there on the waiver wire. Consider yourself lucky if you find him there. Jones is no lock to even be active on a weekly basis. We expect a decent game for Kelley against Green Bay this week, since the Packers have been slipping in run defense the last few games.

NYJ - WR Eric Decker has shoulder surgery

    Source: ESPNNewYork.com - Rich Cimini

New York Jets WR Eric Decker (shoulder) is having surgery on his shoulder to repair a torn rotator cuff Tuesday, Nov. 15. Recovery time is eight months, which ends right before training camp.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
The Jets have missed Decker a lot, so hopefully he is OK to return next season. Of course, the whole thing could be blown up this offseason and we've no idea who would be throwing the ball, but at least Decker will be healthy!

    Thursday Update

GB - RB Christine Michael claimed by Packers

Source: NFL Network - Mike Garafalo

Free-agent RB Christine Michael (Seahawks) was claimed off waivers by the Green Bay Packers Wednesday, Nov. 16, according to a source.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

They're just throwing things at the wall now. He's a long shot, and likely to have little to no role early on. We saw how slowly they rolled Knile Davis out and with James Starks returning from injury, what role Michael may have is very unclear. He's worth a roster flier but also a wait and see attitude.

NE - QB Tom Brady not on injury report

Source: Boston Herald - Jeff Howe

Updating a previous report, New England Patriots QB Tom Brady (thigh) fully participated in practice and is not on the injury report for Week 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

No worries here. Brady is going to play against the team that used to be his favorite growing up in the Bay Area. The 49ers have a weak defense -- but an especially weak run defense. They allow over 190 yards rushing on average per game, and the Pats may just use the rushing attack to march to victory. We still think Brady can put up QB1 stats in Week 11.

NE - TE Rob Gronkowski sitting out

    Source: WEEI.com - Ryan Hannable

New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski (chest) was not participating during the media access portion of practice Wednesday, Nov. 16.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Zero surprise here. Gronkowski may be out this week against the 49ers. If he misses the game, then expect more targets for Martellus Bennett. We also forecast more passes thrown towards Julian Edelman in Week 11. Bennett is a low-end TE1, and Edelman is a mid-range WR2 in this matchup.

Source: The Dallas Morning News - Jon Machota

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott won't have a short leash at quarterback. '(We) certainly don't want any of our players looking over their shoulders when they play,' head coach Jason Garrett said.

Prescott is the guy now, and everyone knows it after Tony Romo's classy press conference. When you are the starter, you get to move past mistakes. So we're not shocked here. We like Prescott as a solid QB2 against Baltimore and have really liked what we've seen from him the past few weeks.

MIN - WR Stefon Diggs to have a shadow

Source: St. Paul Pioneer Press - Chris Tomasson

Minnesota Vikings WR Stefon Diggs will be shadowed by Arizona Cardinals CB Patrick Peterson in Week 11, according to Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This is going to be a tough week for Diggs for a number of reasons, Peterson not the least of them. On the plus side, Diggs has been targeted 42 times in three games and caught 34 of them for 320 yards and a touchdown. The Vikings are going to focus on getting him the ball even if it is the toughest matchup he has had this season.

MIA - WR Jarvis Landry listed as limited

Source: The Miami Herald - Armando Salguero

Miami Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry (shoulder) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 16.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Landry isn't quite hitting the mark for Fantasy GMs right now, and we're not thinking that changes much against Los Angeles. On top of that this team wins when Jay Ajayi runs, and run them they shall, to the detriment of Landry's stats. Right now we see him as a borderline WR3/WR4.

SF - RB Carlos Hyde takes part in practice

    Source: 49ers.com

San Francisco 49ers RB Carlos Hyde (shoulder) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Nov. 16.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

He finally got back into action on Sunday but he didn't do much. Our expectations are not much higher than that against New England this coming weekend and Hyde is ranked in our RB3 tier this week.

Green Bay Packers RB Don Jackson (hand) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Wednesday, Nov. 16.

With the move to add Christine Michael via waivers, the Packers had to make some space.

MIN - RB Matt Asiata full go

    Source: AZCardinals.com - Darren Urban

Minnesota Vikings RB Matt Asiata (shoulder) was a full participant in practice Wednesday, Nov. 16.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It's going to be tough sledding on the ground for the Vikings this week. The Cardinals have the 12th-best rush defense as they only allow an average of 100 rushing yards per game. That makes Asiata a RB3 for fantasy owners.

    14. NE - WR Julian Edelman listed as limited

    Source: Patriots.com

New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman (foot) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 16.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

At this time, it doesn't look like TE Rob Gronkowski (chest) is going to play. That would open the door for Edelman to do much more. We could see him putting up solid WR2 numbers against the 49ers on Sunday.

WAS - WR DeSean Jackson limited

    Source: Redskins.com

Washington Redskins WR DeSean Jackson (shoulder) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 16.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Jackson is a WR5 for fantasy owners against the Packers this week...if he plays. His status for Week 11 is unclear at this point.

GB - WR Randall Cobb limited Wednesday

    Source: Packers.com

Green Bay Packers WR Randall Cobb (hamstring) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 16.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We've got Cobb as a WR3 this week against Washington. He's a part-time player due to this injury, and that may not change unless Cobb can get much healthier before the week of practice is done.

CHI - RB Jordan Howard not on injury report

    Source: ChicagoBears.com

Chicago Bears RB Jordan Howard (ankle, Achilles') was not listed on the injury report for Wednesday, Nov. 16.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Howard is fine, but he faces a tough Giants run defense on Sunday. The Giants are 7th in the league with only 92.1 rushing yards allowed per game. He's a RB2 play for fantasy owners, but he's more on the low-end side of that.

CHI - WR Eddie Royal limited

    Source: ChicagoBears.com

Chicago Bears WR Eddie Royal (toe) was limited in practice Wednesday, Nov. 16.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

With Alshon Jeffery (suspension) out for a month the Bears could use Royal more. This week against the Giants, Royal could put up WR4/deep flex play numbers. We know QB Jay Cutler could latch onto one guy, and he's had a long history with Royal. That makes Royal a cheap GPP play with upside for DFS players.

GB - WR Ty Montgomery misses practice

    Source: Packers.com

Green Bay Packers WR Ty Montgomery (illness) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 16.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This injury/illness coupled with the fact the Packers actually have healthy RBs now makes Montgomery more of a WR6 (desperation flex) play in Week 11 against Washington.

NYG - Limited practice for WR Victor Cruz

    Source: Giants.com

New York Giants WR Victor Cruz (ankle) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Nov. 16.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We're not sold on him playing yet, so for now keep him out of your lineups. Keep an eye on the practice reports but don't expect him to suit up or do much if he does. Even before the injury he had not been terribly effective.

PIT - Limited participation for WR Sammie Coates

    Source: Steelers.com

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Sammie Coates (finger) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 16.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We'll have to see how Coates does in the next two days but the receiving corps is thin Pittsburgh. Right now we have no expectations Coates will produce and would not reccomend him as a play.

PIT - TE Ladarius Green limited

    Source: Steelers.com

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Ladarius Green (knee) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 16.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Even against the lowly Browns, we're not high on Green. He did seem to start getting back into a groove last week but he doesn't look there yet. His floor remains too low and right now we have him posted as a TE3.

CIN - QB Andy Dalton limited Wednesday

Source: The Cincinnati Enquirer - Paul Dehner Jr.

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton (shoulder) was limited in practice Wednesday, Nov. 16, with a right shoulder injury.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We're a little concerned about Dalton against a tough Buffalo defense, and the shoulder injury adds to that. Still, he can put up numbers and for now we have him as a borderline QB1/QB2. He's coming off a pretty mediocre outing against the Giants due to the offensive line issues and some poorly tiomes penalties. We think he'll bounce back a bit, though not all the way this week.

PHI - TE Zach Ertz listed as limited

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz (hamstring) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 16.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We'll see how Ertz does in practice the next two days, but for now we have him as a TE2 who will get plenty of targets but also see plenty of attention. A healthier Ertz might move up our rankings.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Jeremy Maclin (groin) is out of practice Wednesday, Nov. 16.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Maclin was out in Week 10 with this groin injury. We're not sure he even plays, so watch the wire for reports on Thursday practice. If Maclin can't go, then expect more targets for guys like Chris Conley, Albert Wilson and Tyreek Hill.

TB - WR Mike Evans coming of age

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Evans is a top WR1 play even against a tough Chiefs defense. He didn't have a great game last week, which will happen with this offense. We feel that he could bounce back against an opportunistic Chiefs defense in Week 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We still think he can come back and play well. We'll be watching to see when he will get his chance and we are starting to feel like he will return by the end of the season.

    Source: WEEI.com - Ryan Hannable

Free-agent FB Glenn Gronkowski (Patriots) was re-signed to the New England Patriots' practice squad Wednesday, Nov. 16.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Apparently you have to have one healthy Gronkowski at all times. It's in the Patriots rulebook, we assume. Given the problems gaining just two yards at the end of the loss to Seattle, another blocker is a good plan and we wouldn't be shocked if he makes his way to the active roster.

PHI - WR Jordan Matthews out of practice

Source: The Philadelphia Inquirer - Zach Berman

Philadelphia Eagles WR Jordan Matthews (back) is out of practice due to back spasms Wednesday, Nov. 16. His status for Week 11 is not in question, though.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Injury or no, we like Matthews as a WR2/WR3 play against the tough Seattle Seahawks secondary. The Seahawks are going to come heavy after rookie Carson Wentz, and the Eagles may try to counter with the run. Both things will hamper Matthews a little.

    Friday Update

NE - TE Rob Gronkowski remains sidelined

    Source: WEEI.com - Christopher Price

New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski (chest) is not participating in practice Thursday, Nov. 17.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Things don't look good for Gronkowski's availability this week. The Patriots don't need him to play in Week 11 as they should be able to easily hammer the 49ers on Sunday.

SEA - RB C.J. Prosise to remain starter

Source: ESPN - Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter

Seattle Seahawks RB C.J. Prosise is expected to remain the starter for now.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Prosise did well in part because he was a great receiver out of the backfield. We think that combination will again serve him (and his Fantasy GMs well) as a decent RB2 start. As Thomas Rawls gets his sea legs back though, we'll see more of a split and Prosise may end up just being a change of pace back.

SEA - RB Thomas Rawls to be eased back

Source: ESPN - Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter

Contradicting previous reports, Seattle Seahawks RB Thomas Rawls (leg) will be eased back in during his Week 11 game.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It might take some time, but we are enthusiastic for Rawls as we hit the final leg of the fantasy season. Given the "ease in" language though, we have Rawls as a solid RB3, albeit one with upside.

MIN - RB Adrian Peterson resumes light running

    Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Mike Florio

Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson (knee) has resumed light running. He's still receiving treatment on his knee following September surgery to repair a torn meniscus, and his timetable for a return 'continues to be December.'

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Well, we thought maybe the team could survive without him, but they haven't. Then again, Peterson looked awful behind this offensive line before his injury. No matter who runs the ball and when they do it, the line is the primary concern for the Vikings, rather than the running back.

KC - Second scope good for RB Jamaal Charles

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Updating a previous report, Kansas City Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles (knee) could return to the field this season thanks to his second knee scope. A return in late December or in the playoffs is still possible. Without the second scope, Charles would not have been able to return at all this season.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This is Spencer Ware's job now so we don't know what role Charles would have if he returned. Is this the end of Charles in Kansas City? A storyline for the off season.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

NYJ - Coach not ready to name QB Bryce Petty starter

Source: New York Daily News - Manish Mehta

New York Jets QB Bryce Petty has not been named the starting quarterback at this point because head coach Todd Bowles is concerned that some of the veteran players will quit on him if Petty is named the starter, according to sources.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This is ridiculous. Does anyone really think that the team will quit over an inexperienced quarterback versus Ryan Fitzpatrick's 400 interceptions in the red zone? Are we buying this? Probably not. Sounds more like Bowles is worried losing with a rookie will cost him his job. We have news—losing with Fitzpatrick will do the same.

CIN - QB Andy Dalton has full practice

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton (shoulder) was a full participant in practice Thursday, Nov. 17.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Dalton's been up and down this year, though he looked sharp in two of the last three weeks. The Bills secondary is a bit shaky, though its front seven can be tough. We think Dalton does OK, but there are a lot of guys we like more, so we've got Dalton as a solid QB2 with some upside.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Jacquizz Rodgers (foot) did not practice Thursday, Nov. 17.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Doug Martin is back, so Rodgers would be on the shelf anyway. He's worth having in case Martin gets hurt or falters, but he won't be lineup worthy unless that happens.

DET - RB Theo Riddick limited Thursday

    Source: DetroitLions.com - Tim Twentyman

Detroit Lions RB Theo Riddick (ankle) was limited in practice for a second straight day Thursday, Nov. 17.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Those chimes you hear are little warning bells, but we aren't at DEFCON 1 quite yet. We still feel he plays and the matchup isn't bad, but between the injury and his limited number of carries (he averages 11 a game), we have him as a low-end RB2.

GB - Limited practice for WR Randall Cobb

Green Bay Packers WR Randall Cobb (hamstring) was limited in practice Thursday, Nov. 17.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Aaron Rodgers is playing badly right now, stats aside and adding that to Cobb's injury is a concern. Unless he gets in a full practice we've got Cobb as a borderline Wr3/Wr4.

GB - WR Ty Montgomery full go

    Source: Packers.com

Green Bay Packers WR Ty Montgomery (illness) was a full participant in practice Thursday, Nov. 17.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Montgomery's role disappeared last week and we don't expect it to change especially with James Starks back in the backfield. We consider Montgomery no more than a WR6.

Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo (back) participated fully in practice Thursday, Nov. 17.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Romo is relegated to backup barring an injury to Prescott. Romo felt he could still compete for the job so expect him to end up somewhere else next season if the team can make the numbers work.

Updating a previous report, Philadelphia Eagles WR Jordan Matthews (back) was limited during practice Thursday, Nov. 17.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Back problems are tricky to deal with. Going on the road to play a tough Seahawks defense isn't great for Matthews either. Find other options if you can. If he plays, Matthews is a WR3/flex play in Week 11.

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz (hamstring) did not participate in practice Thursday, Nov. 17.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

His status for Week 11 is up in the air. Make sure to check back if Ertz can practice on Friday. If he plays, Ertz could be a relief-valve receiver for QB Carson Wentz against a strong Seattle defense.

BUF - WR Robert Woods limited again

    Source: BuffaloBills.com

Buffalo Bills WR Robert Woods (foot) was limited during practice Thursday, Nov. 17.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Woods should be able to play against the Bengals, and we've got him as a WR3 in Week 11. Sammy Watkins isn't eligible to return from IR until Week 12. That makes Woods the top target in the Bills passing attack.

BUF - WR Percy Harvin probably will start

    Source: WKBW.com - Joe Buscaglia

Buffalo Bills WR Percy Harvin probably will be in the starting lineup against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 11, according to offensive coordinator Anthony Lynn.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Harvin used to be a playmaker, but we're not sure what he is today. He's only a desperation 'what the heck' flex against the Bengals.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Washington Redskins TE Vernon Davis is in the top 10 in fantasy points per game over the last five weeks in PPR leagues. Davis has 18 catches for 288 yards and two touchdowns in the last four games.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Davis faces a Green Bay defense which struggled covering Delanie Walker last week, and has been hot. We consider him a solid TE2, with the upside for more, especially if Desean Jackson is out.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Right now we have Jackson as a WR6, barring further bad news. Jackson has struggled to make an impact this season, and it feels like he's about done. The injury is just the icing on the cake. Look elsewhere if you can.

    Saturday Update

NE - TE Rob Gronkowski to miss game

    Source: NFL.com - Ian Rapoport

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Martellus Bennett is a strong TE1 this week and even deserving of flex consideration over running backs and wide receivers.

SEA - RB Thomas Rawls to be busy

Source: The Tacoma News Tribune - Gregg Bell

Seattle Seahawks RB Thomas Rawls (leg) will not be eased back in when he returns in Week 11 against the Philadelphia Eagles, head coach Pete Carroll said Friday, Nov. 18.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We would still prefer to see Rawls before we trust him in our lineups, but at least the Seahawks offense has been moving the ball well with a healthy Russell Wilson, so some scoring opportunities could be there for Rawls. CJ Prosise is still the better Week 11 play, especially in PPR leagues.

HOU - WR Will Fuller likely game-time decision

Houston Texans WR Will Fuller (leg) is expected to be a game-time decision for Monday Night Football in Week 11 versus the Oakland Raiders.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Updating a previous report, Kansas City Chiefs WR Jeremy Maclin (groin) has been ruled out for Week 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Maclin will miss a good matchup against the Bucs this week. He wasn't exactly lighting up the box score before his injury, so Maclin is not an essential hold in short bench leagues. Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce could see an uptick in targets with Maclin out.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Edelman should still be a strong WR2 if not low-end WR1 this week because Rob Gronkowski and Chris Hogan are both out for this easy matchup against the 49ers.

Bennett is still an easy call as your tight end this week with Rob Gronkowski out. He has three 100-yard games and a three-score game this year. He's even worth flex consideration if he's your #2 tight end.

Arizona Cardinals QB Carson Palmer (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 18, and is not on the injury report for Week 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Palmer should be benched this week with a tough road matchup on tap against the deep and talented Vikings defense.

HOU - RB Lamar Miller limited again

    Source: HoustonTexans.com

Houston Texans RB Lamar Miller (ankle) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 18.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Akeem Hunt will back up Miller this week and he could get more than a typical backup workload with Miller ailing heading into the Monday night matchup in Mexico City.

NE - WR Chris Hogan a no-go for Week 11

    Source: ESPNBoston.com - Mike Reiss

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (back) has been ruled out for Week 11 versus the San Francisco 49ers.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Danny Amendola and Malcolm Mitchell will get more snaps at wide receiver this week. Julian Edelman and Martellus Bennett become no brainer plays as the clear top two targets for Tom Brady in a matchup against a creampuff defense.

DAL - WR Dez Bryant questionable

    Source: DallasCowboys.com

Dallas Cowboys WR Dez Bryant (back) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 18, and is listed as questionable for Week 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Bryant's back issue flared up this week, but his matchup also got a lot better when Jimmy Smith was listed as doubtful. Consider it a wash and treat Bryant as a boom/bust WR2 this week.

LA - RB Todd Gurley limited in practice Friday

    Source: TheRams.com - Myles Simmons

Los Angeles Rams RB Todd Gurley (thigh) was added to the Week 11 injury report with a thigh injury Friday, Nov. 18, although he did play with a similar injury in Week 10.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Gurley is just a low-end RB2 in Jared Goff's first NFL start against a defense that is better against the run than the pass. We're basically holding him for the Week 16 matchup against San Francisco and hoping that we're in the final despite drafting him early.

GB - WR Ty Montgomery practices in full

    Source: USA TODAY Fantasy Sports

Green Bay Packers WR/RB Ty Montgomery (illness) was a full participant in practice for the second straight day Friday, Nov. 18.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Montgomery should retain a role in the backfield and offense, but it has shrunk since he was a PPR star a few weeks ago. He's not an essential hold right now, but his proficiency earlier in the season should make us open to re-adding him if he gets hot and his role grows.

PIT - TE Ladarius Green should be in uniform

    Source: Steelers.com

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Ladarius Green (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 18, and is not on the injury report for Week 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Green should get a lot more than his 12 snaps last week, which yielded three catches for 30 yards. It's fair to think that he could put up TE1 numbers with only half of the team snaps this week.

PIT - WR Sammie Coates on track to play

    Source: Steelers.com

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Sammie Coates (finger) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 18, and is not on the injury report for Week 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Coates has been minimally involved in the offense since suffering his injury. If the wind dies down in Cleveland from the forecast, he could be a what the heck flex against a vulnerable pass defense.

BUF - WR Robert Woods listed as questionable

    Source: BuffaloBills.com
Buffalo Bills WR Robert Woods (foot) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 18, and is listed as questionable for Week 11.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Woods has a high ceiling as the clear #1 receiver against a Cincinnati secondary that has been exploited at times this year. Check back on Sunday morning, but as long as Woods is active, he's worth a look as a WR3/Flex.

CHI - WR Eddie Royal listed as questionable

    Source: USA TODAY Fantasy Sports

Chicago Bears WR Eddie Royal (toe) is listed as questionable for the team's Week 11 game Sunday, Nov. 20, against the New York Giants. He was able to get in a limited practice Friday, Nov. 18.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Royal should play this week and he's a leading candidate to soak up the targets vacated by Alshon Jeffery when he got suspended. Royal has a long history with Jay Cutler and their rapport could push him to the top of the target pecking order.

    Sunday Update

NE - RB Dion Lewis travels with team

Source: The Boston Globe - Ben Volin

New England Patriots RB Dion Lewis (knee) traveled with the team for their Week 11 game against the San Francisco 49ers.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It's a sign that Lewis is going to be active against the 49ers. Even if he plays, the Patriots might choose to ease him back into the lineup.

OAK - Questionable tag for WR Amari Cooper

    Source: Raiders.com

Oakland Raiders WR Amari Cooper (back) was limited during practice Saturday, Nov. 19, and is listed as questionable for Week 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Cooper is on the probable side of questionable. We think he's a WR1 against the Texans, and we're expecting an offense show (on the Raiders side at least) in Mexico City on Monday night.

HOU - WR Will Fuller questionable

Source: Houston Chronicle - Aaron Wilson

Houston Texans WR Will Fuller (knee) was limited during practice Saturday, Nov. 19, and is listed as questionable for Week 11. Head coach Bill O'Brien said he feels good about Fuller's chances to play against the Oakland Raiders.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

On paper, this looks like a good matchup for the Texans offense on Monday night. The Raiders aren't playing up to their potential on defense, and they allow 283.2 net passing yards per game (30th in the NFL). Fuller would make for a 'what the heck' flex play against the Raiders in Week 11.

PIT - WR Markus Wheaton placed on IR

    Source: Steelers.com

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Markus Wheaton (shoulder) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Saturday, Nov. 19.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Things were supposed to be better for Wheaton in a contract year. He finishes the season with only four catches for 51 yards and a touchdown. We can't imagine he gets more than a 'prove it' deal in free agency.

DEN - RB C.J. Anderson making solid progress

Source: Denver7 Sports - Troy Renck

Denver Broncos RB C.J. Anderson (knee) is ahead of schedule in his recovery from a torn meniscus.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Anderson wants to be back for the Broncos season finale against the Raiders. That may not be the case, but it's clear that he's on track to return for the postseason.

GB - Crash course for RB Christine Michael

Source: Milwaukee Journal Sentinel - Tom Silverstein

Green Bay Packers RB Christine Michael said he has already picked up on some aspects of the offense, and offensive coordinator Edgar Bennett said there is a plan in place for Michael to 'get him up to speed.'

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
We don't think Michael is going to play against Washington on Sunday. If you've stashed him, then just keep him on your bench before he's more up to speed in the Packers offense.

NO - Positive outlook for RB Mark Ingram

    Source: ESPN.com - Mike Triplett
New Orleans Saints RB Mark Ingram (concussion) should be 'fine' for Week 12 against the Los Angeles Rams, according to head coach Sean Payton, and Payton said he wasn't sure if Ingram was officially diagnosed with a concussion.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
We'll know more about Ingram next week during practice. If he misses time, the team is just going to lean on Tim Hightower more. Even if Ingram plays against the Rams in Week 12, the Saints might want to limit his role.

    Monday Update

CIN - WR A.J. Green has torn hamstring

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Updating previous reports, Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (hamstring) has a tear in his hamstring and will undergo an MRI to determine the severity of the injury, according to a source.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Green could miss the rest of the season in a positively seismic injury in fantasy leagues. Tyler Boyd was the immediate beneficiary today, but things tightened up on Tyler Eifert after Green went out. Next week the Bengals face the Ravens in a game that will effectively end their season if they can't win.

SEA - RB C.J. Prosise bangs up shoulder

    Source: Seahawks.com - John Boyle

Seattle Seahawks RB C.J. Prosise (shoulder) left the Week 11 game against the Philadelphia Eagles in the second half due to a shoulder injury. Coach Pete Carroll said later Sunday that Prosise could miss several weeks.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Thomas Rawls is handling all of the work now in his first game back. No matter what Prosise's condition is, Rawls will likely be back in our lineups next week.

BUF - RB LeSean McCoy has dislocated thumb

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Updating previous report, Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy (thumb) suffered a dislocated thumb in Week 11, but the team does not seem concerned about the injury, according to sources.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

McCoy should be a solid RB1 if he is ready for Jacksonville next week, but Mike Gillislee performed well in relief of McCoy and should be one of the most widely-owned handcuffs because Buffalo has a manageable schedule going forward.

DET - QB Matthew Stafford doesn't do much

    Source: The Associated Press

Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford completed 24 of his 33 pass attempts for 278 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions in the Week 11 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He also ran twice for no gain.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Stafford was shut down for long portions of this game and he only got a chance to lead the team to a win because of a defensive and special teams touchdown. Stafford will be better off on our benches as the Lions try to get into first place by themselves with a win over the Vikings on Thanksgiving.

DET - WR Marvin Jones nearly invisible

    Source: The Associated Press

Detroit Lions WR Marvin Jones posted just one catch for 15 yards on two targets in the Week 11 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Jones is only emergency depth until he hurts us for leaving him on our benches. He hasn't been the same since Golden Tate got on track, and Eric Ebron has also been ahead of him in the pecking order. He's a desperation play against Minnesota on Thanksgiving.

JAX - RB Chris Ivory totals 114 yards

    Source: The Associated Press

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory rushed 17 times for a game-high 39 yards in the Week 11 game against the Detroit Lions. Ivory added six receptions for a game-high 75 yards on six targets.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

TJ Yeldon went down with an ankle injury, leaving Ivory as the lead back. He wasn't very effective as a runner, but Ivory was the most successful receiver for Blake Bortles. If Yeldon can't go against Buffalo next week, Ivory will be a solid RB2.

BAL - WR Steve Smith just short of 100

    Source: The Associated Press

Baltimore Ravens WR Steve Smith hauled in eight receptions for 99 yards and a touchdown in the Week 11 game against the Dallas Cowboys. He was targeted nine times.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Smith passed 1000 receptions and was locked in as Joe Flacco's #1 receiver. Once healthy earlier in the season, Smith had back to back eight reception games. He should be slotted in as a strong PPR WR2 going into a matchup with Cincinnati.

PHI - RB Darren Sproles injures ribs

    Source: PhiladelphiaEagles.com

Philadelphia Eagles WR Darren Sproles (ribs) left the Week 11 game against the Seattle Seahawks due to an injury to his ribs and he did not return.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Sproles had an increased opportunity with Ryan Mathews sidelined, but he himself left the game, which puts Wendell Smallwood as the #1 back for the rest of the game.

PHI - RB Ryan Mathews has MCL sprain

    Source: ESPN - Adam Caplan

Philadelphia Eagles RB Ryan Mathews (knee) left the Week 11 game against the Seattle Seahawks due to a sprained medial collateral ligament, a source said Sunday, Nov. 20. He will be evaluated further over the next 24 hours.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Mathews had been mostly healthy this year, but his history indicated that we shouldn't feel too safe. Next week against Green Bay may be a stretch for Mathews, who can be a slow healer.

DAL - QB Dak Prescott tosses three more TDs

    Source: The Associated Press

Dallas Cowboys rookie QB Dak Prescott completed 27 of his 36 attempts for 301 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in the Week 11 game against the Baltimore Ravens. He also rushed twice for 16 yards.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Prescott was steady and found more and more flaws in the Ravens defense as the game went on. Dez Bryant played a bigger role as the offense got closer to the end zone, and Prescott was able to use secondary receivers well, as he has all season. He's a strong QB1 only looking up at a handful of quarterbacks in the rankings.

DAL - RB Ezekiel Elliott sets franchise record

    Source: The Associated Press

Dallas Cowboys rookie RB Ezekiel Elliott rushed 25 times for 97 yards in the Week 11 game against the Baltimore Ravens and he added four receptions for 30 yards on five targets. He broke the rookie rushing record of 1,007 yards set by RB Tony Dorsett in 1977. He has 1,102 yards this season.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Elliott gets Washington on Thanksgiving, coming off of a game with "only" 127 total yards.

CIN - TE Tyler Eifert held in check

    Source: NFL.com

Cincinnati Bengals TE Tyler Eifert caught three passes for 37 yards against the Buffalo Bills in Week 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Eifert didn't have the room to operate in the middle of the field that he usually enjoys with AJ Green sidelined. His outlook could be helped by additional targets, but the value of each target is lowered without Green to keep safeties' attention. He's probably not an elite TE1 option any longer without Green on the field.

NYG - WR Sterling Shepard targeted often Sunday

    Source: CBSSports.com

New York Giants WR Sterling Shepard was targeted 11 times and caught five passes for 50 yards and a touchdown against the Chicago Bears on Sunday, Nov. 20.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Shepard had another catch that he took inside the five, so his red zone usage is heartening, even though his ceiling is limited to WR3/Flex range on a weekly basis. He'll be a favorable play next week against the Browns.

MIN - WR Adam Thielen leads receivers

    Source: CBS Sports

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen caught all five of his targeted passes for 65 yards and a touchdown in a 30-24 win over the Arizona Cardinals.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Thielen also drew a pass interference to set up another score. He is only a flex play in good matchups, but next week against Atlanta qualifies.

CLE - Corey Colman catches four passes

    Source: NFL.com
Cleveland Browns WR Corey Coleman caught four passes for 39 yards against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 11.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Coleman could be viable if Josh McCown remains the starter next week against the Giants. He had a massive two-score first quarter earlier this year with McCown against the Ravens.

CLE - WR Terrelle Pryor finishes with 97 yards

    Source: NFL.com

Cleveland Browns WR Terrelle Pryor caught five passes for 97 yards against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Pryor had a few big plays in an otherwise barren day for the Browns offense. He remains a solid WR3/Flex and could benefit from the loss of Cody Kessler because it brings the deep passing game back into play.

ARI - QB Carson Palmer shaky in loss

    Source: CBSSports.com

Arizona Cardinals QB Carson Palmer was 20-of-38 for 198 yards and two touchdowns in a 30-24 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. He was also intercepted twice.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Palmer had a few stretches of good play, but his pick six near the end of the first half that went 100 yards the other direction was too much to overcome. He has a relatively easy run of passing defenses coming up, starting with Atlanta next week, so streamers should not let Palmer go after the predictable down performance.

CIN RB Giovani Bernard Suffers Torn ACL

An update to yesterday's game news. Bengals RB Giovani Bernard suffered a torn ACL and will miss the rest of the season.

As if the Bengals weren't reeling enough with A.J. Green's hamstring tear, Cincinnati now must deal with losing a key running back.

Jeremy Hill will certainly see some extra work. If you're looking for a pickup, RB Rex Burkhead looks like he'll be the guy that will get a shot for some of the RB pass catching roles where Bernard was so effective.
