    Christine Michael or Darren Mcfadden?

I drafted Christine Michael with my last pick in the draft and he's been on my bench. I anticipated that at some point during the year, Michael would win the starting job from the two scrubs Mcfadden and Randle.

It's week 8 now and he still hasn't started. I know for a fact this kid is way better than Mcfadden. I mean to be honest it's not even close. Sure Mcfadden had 1 good game against the Giants, but trust me, this guy can't run for more than 3 yards. His vision is horrible.

    But....

Do I pick him up, since he is the starting rb after all and will get all those touches? I have the 2nd waiver.

    Here are my options:

    1) I drop Michael for Mcfadden (possibility 1 waiver takes mcfadden)
    2) I drop Michael for Alfred Blue (possible 1 waiver takes him)
    3) I keep Michael.

I am tempted to go with option 3. Mcfadden will not be an every week rb. I just can't see it. But if Michael isn't gonna win the job, I want Blue for sure.

Unless you guys think Mcfadden is a new man now?

One of the biggest reasons that Michael isn't getting more game time is that he is a sub-par blocker. He will get more work as the season goes on, especially next week if Randle can't go. Right now DMC will be the lead back, he's hitting the holes much more decisively than Randle and is better in blitz pick-up. Cowboys OL also looked better this past week, they replaced Leary with Collins. Hard to gauge what happens when Randle is healthy, but think it's DMC's job to lose.

Blue will get the lion's share of the work and probably get more consistent touches, but didn't look very impressive before Foster returned. I think, at least short term, DMC is the choice, but he's an injury waiting to happen. He also has a tough matchup next week.

DMC ran hard last week. I think he's the best pickup.

Hearing a lot of stuff about Blue and Polk sharing carries. They will probably go with the hot hand there.

McFadden for now, but it's hard to trust anyone in that backfield though it seems they just ride the hot hand during that particular game.

Maybe never. Randall stormed outta practice when he got the official word that DMC was starting this week. He's supposed to be back at practice tomorrow, but he better get a cushion and make himself comfortable at the end of the bench.

Yeah definitely not starting him this week.

I have Peterson, Doug Martin, Charcandrick West, Andre Ellington, and now Mcfadden

    12 man league

2 rbs and 1 flex. Starting West in the flex.

Yep Randall facing suspension from the league for stupidity earlier this year, doubtful he'll ever get meaningful minutes even when he comes back.

I would get McFadden and then if something happens pick up Michael later on when you might need him in playoffs or something.

seven weeks of hype on c.michael and he's carried the ball seven times for the year. don't know the last time i've heard so much about a guy, yet seen so little. not blaming him, it's probably j.jones and the cowboys being dumb again.
