If Peterson wants another free $15M, he should beat his kids some more and get another paid vacation.

He has a valid point about contracts being 1 sided in owner's favor but it is something that should be discussed at NFLPA meetings, not Twitter. His pr agent should be fired for not putting a gag order on him.

AP is the highest paid RB in NFL history by nearly double, now he wants QB money? What's next, play the race card?

@JosinaAnderson: Filed to ESPN: #Vikings RB Adrian Peterson has informed me that he's in Minnesota and that he's planning to attend OTAs starting today.

    Lol tough guy

Now that he is back to work, how high do you put him on your draft rankings? He still has to be a top 5 RB easily even with the year off right?

Too 3. Charles bell and him. I'd even put him ahead of bell due to the suspension. Some will say otherwise because of age but it's just me. Wouldn't worry about the layoff, guy is a freak of nature

Charles faded so bad at the end last year. I'll let other ppl take him and be frustrated when he doesn't produce in the fantasy playoffs. AP has never had this good of an offense around him. He is going to ball, i would take him 1 then Bell then Charles....

AP easily the #1 RB, ignoring the off-field stuff, the guy is simply an alien on the field even tho he just turned 30.

Peterson is basically broke men..he has paid so much money out to women and kids and lawyers

Then his own spending...he is 10000% broke at 40

He had to come back because he needs paychecks

Yeah, thinking about it all I agree. That year off saved some wear and tear on him for sure. Can see the Vikings riding him hard like the Cowboys did with Murray last season.

Footballguys only ranks AP as the ninth RB in Standard scoring and outside the Top 10 (11th) in PPR.

It is obviously very early, but Standard Rankings as of 5/31:

LT, you are showing the projection of David Dodds, one of the 18 guys there. This isn't the Footballguys consensus.

Dodds was main reason I won both SBR leagues last season.

Ah, ok. I'll keep an eye on him. I guess he is co-owner. But his AP projection is on the low end of the 18 guys on staff.

Here is consensus. Dodds is part of "David and Joe" ownership team.

A few things to remember about the Vikings, they've got Norv as OC who loves to mush the football, they were middle of the pack last year without AP, using guys like Asiata (glorified FB) and McKinnon (a rookie). Zimmer, a defensive minded HC, also loves to use the run game whenever he can. As long as Peterson can stay healthy, the upside is enormous and another 2k certainly isn't out of the question, the Vikings staff will certainly give him every opportunity.

Gotta throw out the 13, Chad Parsons is clueless. He thinks Minny wants to be a passing team and AP at 30 is too old.

If he is healthy and plays all 16 games its at least 1400 yards and 10 TD's easy.

Another thing to consider, AP is playing for his 2016 salary. He wanted a guarantee, but he'll have to earn it.
