I understand them and Love is just a spot up guy. Was a stat padder in Minny and got a lot of unwarranted hype. The only reason it is a big deal now is Cavs have to scramble for right lineup combos without being able to add players.

Never thought it would happen but Love went from overrated to underrated.

He's just a decent player. Nothing more. Will get a big contract that he will never earn and unless he understands he is not meant to be neither the centerpiece or sidekick to centerpiece he will never win in postseason.

Can we agree Love gets the big contract over Rondblow?

Love out the entire Eastern semifinals. That is fukking huge. That mutherfukker Olynyk should be suspended all of next season. Dammit.

Cavs still currently -170 to win the East and +280 to win the title

Is that a two-way bet on the -170? I would take East FIELD +150 all day long and every day to Sunday. Cavs shouldn't even be -170 vs. Bulls let alone to win the East.

no it's not. each team in East still has odds, including Bucks and Nets. don't see a two-way Cavs prop anywhere currently.

best value is Wizards +1400 to win East.

Cavs were 3-4 in games Love missed this season. Small sample size, and he ain't Lebron, but they can't afford not to have him. Their frontcourt is horribly thin. Kendrick Perkins is an old fat slow blob -- too slow for anyone in the Bulls frontcourt. Shawn Marion is just old. Are they going to pull Mike Miller out of the closet? Brendan Haywood?

What's Bulls and Hawks at? Wiz +1400 is decent.

    +500 and +320 respectively

i like the position the Wiz are in, especially if the Nets can extend the Hawks to 6 games minimum. i'll likely play them over the Hawks regardless though. and then potentially face the Cavs/Bulls winner from a series that will be even more physical without Love playing.

Love's heart doesn't seem to be in it like the rest of the guys. Don't really trust the Cavs without him though

While Love might not have played up to expectations, he will be missed. I'm surprised Olynik wasn't playing with his hair at the time like he always does. He looks like a prissy boy when he does that.

The Bulls are offensively challenged. I really don't see any way they come out of the East. Cleveland will mop them up without Love...

Through most of the season they were defensively challenged, not offensively challenged. Milwaukee has played pretty darn good D this series. They have some athletes and length that the Cavs do not have.

If not having him is the reason Cavs don't make it to the finals, then they never should have been there to begin with. He is an overpriced luxury item.

    current Futures to win East:

    Cavs -173
    Hawks +360
    Bulls +525
    Wiz +1235

i'll be waiting for the Wiz to return to around the +1400 mark when the Hawks beat the Nets, which i still think they'll do. i expect them to win comfortably in game 5 and maybe win a close game 6. otherwise, definitely in 7. Bulls finally closing out Bucks would also help this number rise a bit.

    d2bets - there's a two way Cavs prop line @ 5D: Cavs -170, Field +150

I wonder if that will change when (and if) the Hawks and Bulls advance. What kind of a Bulls series odds does that imply? Seems like something along the lines of -400 and then -300. At least. Isn't that crazy?

Hawks will win the East. They have home court advantage.
