Luol Deng Could be Done for the Season

The Heat are still just one game out of the eighth and final playoff spot in the L-East, but would they now be better served by trying to get into the draft lottery?

Luol Deng will have an MRI on his left knee on Monday and there is some belief that his season could be over.

The Heat are now a full game behind the Celtics for the No. 8 seed and they may start shifting their focus to the upcoming draft lottery. Deng hasn't looked right for quite some time and is reportedly dealing with a lot of swelling and lingering pain. Deng's owners should stand pat until we get the results of the MRI on Monday, but this certainly doesn't sound good.

Just been a bad year for them from prestart to finish. Losing James in the offseason, and then Bosh for the year.

No one in looks as smart in Miami since LeBron left for Cleveland. I kept hearing how great of a coach Spo was the last few years.

Lebron knew the heat were done that is why he left. Not sure though if CAvs can beat GS

Golden State can probably beat everybody but Spurs and Cavs in the playoffs

If Indy gets 8th spot, they're dangerous. Boston not so much.

Unless the Heat can get to the 10th pick or better, it goes to the Sixers. That last Philly - Heat game could be an Epic must lose for both teams.

Final chapter in a long book this year for the Heat. Wade's knee's wouldn't make it through the playoffs anyway.

Miami is done for the season. Unfortunately, it's been injury plagued from the minute, Bosh has been ruled out. There are zero chances, that Miami wins 4 out of 5 games, because Bulls and Raptors won't fyk around till the end of the regular season.
I hope they get rid of Spoelstra...what a bum...this has to be the dumbest coach in the NBA. I hope that Miami waives Chalmers, Beasley and Walker, because they're pretty much useless.
