Seems like a lot of what ifs and nothing concrete. Sad because kid has ability to be an outstanding qb in NFL.

seems like Jameis Winston is on his way to being the next Maurice Clarett. Maurice should talk to the guy for a fee.

Hes too good of a Talent to pass up though if you need a starting QB.
Zero chance I'm passing on him if I'm a GM that doesn't have a top tier starter already

Dude will be making millions next year, you can bank on it. I don't think he last more then 3 years in the league though, the guy is Ryan Leaf immature.

Classic boom or bust prospect....I would roll the dice on him if I felt comfortable after interviewing everyone he's ever known and spending days with him

Teams will really have to do their research on background and feel comfortable with him to take him high. They will have to ask themselves if they believe he can lead a locker room and be respected. Right now it is iffy.

It's one of the worst myths of the NFL: the world's worst person will be OK once we surround him with all the model citizens we already have on our team. It never works out that way. Wherever Winston lands in the NFL, that head coach had better be prepared to spend a lot of time talking about things other than football because Winston's bringing a lot of baggage with him.

He's not even that good. He's surrounded by superior talent every time he steps onto the collegiate gridiron. What's he gonna do when he's asked to shoulder the burden and will a team to victory... a team that might be on par with their opponent, or even overmatched? That "deer in the headlights" look that seems to always surface when things aren't going his way will become his permanent face once he gets into the NFL. He does not have the intangibles you want to see in a franchise quarterback... See JaMarcus Russell.

If this is true, it's probably been going on all season. The defense has looked a little subpar at times too. Maybe Winston has talked some of his teammates in to the action. I hope not. This might be the time that FSU wins big.

Nothing you said is true from being surrounded by superior talent to him not doing well under pressure. I have an extra tv if you want it.

Just watched Rand University last night. Lots of teams where hesitant on Randy Moss too. There was a guy on their that was drafted by the Brewers who only played one year in the minors then was sent home for smoking weed. He is now living on the streets. These guys are young and don't understand the consequenses of their actions.

Oregon has been better than fsu

The joke is people like you that can't see past th record

Fsu lucks out. They have not been close to dominant

    Shouldn't even be top 5

I normally don't put any credence to any of these conspiracy theories like point shaving, but I sure was thinking about it during the first half.

Story will probably break after he leaves

So Fsu will refuse to suspend him and then it will be too late

I'd bet we have a Reggie bush or Derrick rose situation here

Fsu doing everything they can so it gets stalled until after he leaves

No doubting his talent. He could be a phenomenal NFL QB. Unfortunately his dumbness outweighs his talent. Maybe he grows up a lot between now and his NFL days.
