Playoff Teams Playing Close to Home

Here is a list of teams that will have to do little, if any traveling for their bowl games. I can be an advantage, but not always:

New Mexico Bowl: UTSA vs New Mexico. A home game for New Mexico played at their stadium.
Cure Bowl: Arkansas State vs Central Florida. The game is in Orlando, at the home field of Central Florida.
New Orleans Bowl: Southern Miss vs La. Lafayette. Lafayette to New Orleans is a short drive.
Potato Bowl: Colorado State vs Idaho. Moscow, home of Idaho, is 5 hours drive from Boise. 1 hour by air.
Dollar General Bowl: Ohio vs Troy. Troy is about 3 hours up the road from Mobile AL.
Hawaii Bowl: Middle Tennessee vs Hawaii. This game is at Hawaii's home stadium in Honolulu.
Heart of Dallas Bowl: Army vs North Texas State. Denton TX, home of State, is a suburb of Dallas.
Military Bowl: Temple vs Wake Forest. Annapolis is 2 hours from Philadelphia, home of Temple.
Russell Athletic Bowl: Miami (Fl) vs West Virginia. A couple of hours from Miami to Orlando.
Texas Bowl: Kansas State vs Texas A&M. College Station, home of A&M is 1 1/2 hours outside of Houston.
Music City Bowl: Nebraska vs Tennessee. It is about a 2 hour drive from Knoxville to Nashville.
Rose Bowl: USC vs Penn State. USC is already 1-0 this season in the Rose Bowl, defeating UCLA.

Florida and Florida State also play games in Florida, but not real close to their campuses.
