OU ranked ahead of Notre dame

Clem, bama, ou, iowa. So many of u said the committee would put nd over ou due to common opponent texas. Luckily the committee watches the games because it's clear ou has been more impressive than nd.

    Howd. That. Taste.

    Man that felt great

With Okie St rated higher than Stanford there is really no logical way ND can pass OU if they both win.

Glad ou still has a shot at nat title. Its only fair. A out of state loss to rival texas can and does happen.

I don't see how because Okie St is ranked higher than Stanford right now. So Oklahoma's win would be better than ND's win.

That is a rather huge IF. I like the Sooners but Stoops in Bedlam worries me this weekend with the pressure. Hope Mayfield comes back strong from that cheap shot to the head and plays lights out though. I think we have to wait until Indy and the Michigan State and Iowa game to get our #4 seed this season.

What kind of chaos would ensue if South Carolina or N. Carolina stuns Clemson, Noles beat a flat Gators team, Cowboys beat Sooners and Stanford handles Notre Dame this weekend? I know its a stretch but we've seen last weekend craziness before in football.

They probably still wouldn't give Baylor a CFP shot.

Notre Dame lost to the #1 ranked team by 2 points at an away game, yet is ranked behind teams that lost to teams that are ranked around 30

Also, when did Notre Dame stop playing against Michigan/Michigan St?

If Michigan states loses to iowa, Oklahoma loses to the cowboys and ND loses to Stanford, I think Baylor would be in, assuming they beat TCU.

But yes that would qualify as perfect storm.

It has something to do with Maryland and Rutgers joining the Big Ten and also Notre Dame signing a deal with the ACC to play five of their teams in football every year since Notre Dame is member of the ACC in all other sports...it's all bullshit, man.

I think Clemson will stay in playoff even if they lose to North Carolina.

Bama could be out if they were to lose in Iron bowl.

Iowa out if they lose to Nebraska or Michigan State

Navy starting to look like a lock for the national championship.

another funny scenario would be if would Florida losses to Fla St this weekend and then beats Alabama in the SEC championship game!...meaning there won't be any SEC teams in the four team playoff.

yes sir...and that's exactly the reason why the NCAA is going to expand this playoff format at the very least to 8 teams before it's all said and done...too much parity and too much money involved...and not to mention all the bitchin'-n-complainin' from SEC fans...
