Is Tennessee at Vandy a huge bet???

This seems like an absolute spot for one to fire.

    Tennessee wins this game.

I don't care that Vandy has been incredibly impressive at home. I don't care that Tennessee is coming off a heartbreaking loss. Tennessee is the better team.

Way more talent. About the same coaching. They have not lost to Vanderbilt since 2005.

Tennessee wins this and then beats Kentucky and gets into a bowl game. Enough is enough. They were in the same spot last year (4-6 su) and could not get it done. This year they do.

If anyone has any info on this game I would love to read it. I am having a hard time seeing how this is not a great spot for Tennessee....

Vandy is the better team, Tennessee is off a devastating loss, and Dooley's comments after last year's game might give Vandy an extra edge.

Vandy is my biggest play this week.

Coaching is the same? Not even close! Vandy has the edge here.

Vandy has had this game circled for a year. They got hosed last year in ot in Neyland Stadium.

They have a better defense (understatement of the century) UT has given more yards through 6 games than any team in SEC history.

    Vandy is at home.

    Special teams = Vandy.

    Dooley is a lame duck.

    UT is much better offensively.

Tennessee's defense is the WVU of the SEC. Stay away man!

Vandy wins this game and covers. They have pretty good defense and playing at home , there is no way Tennessee would pull this one off... It is no brainer, Vandy will win this one by TD or more.

    Obvious covers this week

    Ball st against Ohio
    Purdue against Illinois
    Kansas st against Baylor
    Vandy against Tennessee

Franklin and crew haven't forgotten what Dooley said last year. Vanderbilt should win and cover.

There is a reason Vandy is favored here. You answered your own question in your original post, other than coaching being equal. Vandy has the edge here by a large margin. Dooley is done and Tenn. has no defense at all. Vandy should win.

Hope you didn't touch Tenn. in this game. Dooley is done. Vandy was easy money.

Thanks to all in this post.
I think I learned a few lessons yesterday.

Tennessee and USC were very interesting, no doubt. Shows how much can change in one year. Also, betting on these coaches who have a high percentage chance of being fired at the end of the year seems to be a terrible formula, they just seem very unpredictable.
