Dana White is scum. Unbelievable. Pay the man. You know he won. Fck my money. I'm done anyway. This man put in work, and won. But, he was robbed. Dana is the biggest scum in all of so called sports.[/QUOTE]

I agree, Brunson won the fight, but I don't agree that he put in the work. He fought like a scared mouse, especially in the 2nd round. Silva had way more bravado in the fight, was more entertaining. I can take the judges side on that. This isnt' point fighting. There are point fighting contests out there that fighters can take part in instead if they want to fight like a bitch.

It was no lauzon held. But it was bad. Even the announcers called it 2-0 Brunson going into the 3rd. Then one judge had it 30-27 Silva. Just bananas. There have been plenty worse tho. Picking the "winner" is not always enough. We know how it goes

Oh well on to the next.. Congrats Paper and others that won.. The old guys came thru for you.. Anderson Silva looked good, Brunson fought scared... Glover dominated too....

That's 2 UFC cards in a row that I lost now. ERRRR!!!! Not use to that.. Gotta get back on the horse and cap these fights a little better...

My point is, Paper, that attitude also plays a part in a fight. Imagine a fight in a schoolyard. Often the kid who leads more, mocks the opponent, and demonstrates more authority in the fight is the one who you can say was the winner. Silva led most of the fight and got a lot of respect from Brunson who seemed in awe of Silva. For example, remember that weird Capoeira dance that Silva did, and Brunson just stood there watching? I'll bet if Brunson would've interrupted that dance and cracked Silva a good one, or at least attempted to, then it would've scored some favor with the judges.

Remember the Bisping/Silva fight? Bisping was playing with Silva, took initiative, and almost let Silva knee him in the face and it didn't even affect him that much. Also, when Silva was doing his thing with his back against the wall pretending to get ready to counter and hit Bisping, Bisping didn't act scared or respect Silva. He kept punching him while his back was against the wall. Brunson wasn't doing any of this, he just let Silva dictate the pace and got some counters in here and there. It was an embarrasing performance. That said, I agree that Brunson won, but I can see where the judges came from and can accept the decision.

El Cuchy does every fight especially when he is in trouble. Kalib is in for a couple of ball shots and a eye poke here and there.

Nate Diaz does it almost every fight and loses....but I get it.......its also a way of baiting people in and IMO it shows discipline not to bite....Brunson did just that......it benefits certain styles to act flashy.....Silva in a flat out counter fighter....it entices people to attack....don't bite......go dance in the corner for all I give a F.....right?.....I know what you mean though.....

Yea, if Brunson projected that "I don't give a F" attitude. But he didn't, he looked like he was intimidated throughout the whole fight. In the corner, after the 2nd round, Greg Jackson even said he was giving Silva too much respect.

Yep, you're right, the judges are MMA fans too. So you have to take into account sometimes which fighter will get more favor from the judges if it's a close fight. Obviously in this case, it's the Spider.
