Daniel Cormier forced out of Jon Jones rematch at UFC 197 with injury

Injuries have come to plague another big UFC pay-per-view card in 2016.

BJPENN.COM has learned through sources close to AKA that current UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier has suffered an injury and will not be able to defend his title for the scheduled rematch with former champion Jon Jones at UFC 197.

Rumors were reported that Cormier was seen at a wrestling tournament recently and was having a hard time walking due to an injured left leg. Our sources have confirmed that Cormier is in fact injured.

The UFC has not yet released any official statement addressing Cormier’s injury or if Jon Jones will be offered another fight for UFC 197..

Ya, just another guy that can't handle success. By the time he is through he will either be dead or another guy wearing a number in a orange jump suit.

Jones is going to fight OSP for the interim light heavyweight champion.
The odds are against OSP but i think OSP is going to win. Biggest surprise ever.
OSP is long, strong and he´s a southpaw. Jones struggle with southpaws in the first round until he adjust. The problem is that OSP is going to rock him. OSP by TKO. MASSIVE UPSET!

If Jones wins unscathed Dana should add the Jones Cormier fight to the UFC 200 card. Have 3 co-main events which would all be rematches. That would make the card epic cuz right now it seems a little weak for whats supposed to be the UFCs biggest event ever.

It's funny everyone is tripping out about his headlines but I interpret them as Jones is ready to go. The fact is that he shouldn't carry this fake/good guy persona that the media wants him to be. Just do you brudda
