When you think about it, statistics are out the window in most fighting sports. The matchups are the key. Handicapping fights (UFC specifically) are much more art than science, compared to other sports. I only ask because I love watching MMA but am horrible betting it. I feel like I have a great idea of the sport, but it just hasn't really translated. Curious to see if anyone here actually bets MMA and PROFITS consistently.
I think fighting sports can be +EV. not a lot of variables with full teams, no lucky bounces or weird pass interference calls. It just takes a lot of film study and sometimes it's hard to ring previous fights where the styles of the fight your handicapping are similar.
