    Transfer post -

Machida vs Romero is an interesting fight to think out..

Machida's been looking old, soft and perhaps he is even losing a step in recent fights, but considering the studs he's been facing in Luke Rockhold and Chris Weidman it's easy to say that.... Romero is a bit of a beast to deal with though.. I'd have to see what Romero looks like PED free at weigh ins to make a final call..

UFC Fight Night 70 - Middleweight 5 rounds - Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino - Hollwood, Florida - FS1
    Sat 6/27 1001 Yoel Romero +155
    11:59PM 1002 Lyoto Machida -175

Like Shabang said on the other thread Machida will have the speed advantage standing, he's a very elusive fighter standing with his stick and move style.. Will Romero be able to deal with that is the question?

Romero will be the stronger fighter and if he gets a hold of Machida or connects standing I'm sure Machida will be in trouble... That's why I think this is an interesting style match up...

Machida 37 years old... Flip side Romero is no spring chicken either at 38 either and if off PED's he could be sagging physically just like Machida looks... Weigh ins will tell the tail...

Romero is a physical specimen though.. http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Yoel-Romero-60762

Relax with the hog packages Miri you sick twisted little bastard...

I'm with Paper though, me tinks Machida out quicks the 38 year old muscle bound hog carrying Romero to a decision win.. Machida could even get the late KO if Romero gasses out, gets frustrated and starts to press...

Gotta figure the only two guys that beat Machida recently were better strikers then Romero and alot younger.. The current champ and Luke.. The Dragon should get this....http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Lyoto-Machida-7513

I like Eddie Gordon's chances and so do the Combat Press boys.. He could lose by decision though.. I'm on Larkin and Machida so far myself...

Probably a good idea to jump on Eddie now if you want to make a play before the line moves. The MMA media so called experts are all calling Eddie out for the win and the betting public usually follows....http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Eddie-Gordon-66410

I feel like the ufc really believes in makashvili, first matched up with nick lentz, now hacran dias? He didnt have a full training camp against eddiva either which means he probably is going to look much better this time around, which sucks for the dias bettors. Another point is that hacran dias doesnt have any finishing power, although he has faced really tuf competition. I do think the striking may be the deciding factor and that is where dias has the upper hand, but makashvili has some power as well. Dias has better movement, better shot selection, better variety, and is more experienced, probably smarter etc, but you can throw all that shit out the window with poor judging in a fight that may end up going the full three rounds without a clear winner. Thats mma betting in a nutshell!

Guy has finishing power 100% ..He is strong as penetrate for this division...anyone that bet Lamas was pacing during that fight LOL....I feel his strength will be a huge factor...up against the fence he will control it 100% and get the takedowns he wants...

After seeing what Alex Oleveria did to KJ Noons I'd say this might be a lock.. http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Alex-Oliveira-110143

Alex has only lost by submission in the past and this new comer to the UFC Joe Merrit only has won his fights by KO to a bunch of bums.. http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Joe-Merritt-138127

Since i am black myself, i can def run those kinds of jokes against my own kind, i mean, there has to be some advantages being black other than being poor and having a really good rhythm.

Well, you guys got me second guessing Eddie Gordon.. Was on the fence before the posts but now this fight might be a pass for me... I was figuring both of these fighters really aren't that good so pick the dog with the least amount of flees... Was thinking Eddie Gordon was that dog...

Besides what written, i feel that romero is a bit fluky, while machida has fought the aaaaaaaabsolute best fighters the middleweight division has seen like ever. But besides romero being fluky he is improving, and has really good wrestling <-- understatement. But lack of cardio and lack of chin smells trouble from here to china. So the smart bet is on machida no doubt, but its always uncomfortable to put money down on a guy that got smashed in the 1.round regardless.

Who retires from gambling unless you go broke from gambling and empty out your online accounts?.. Was just emotional after one really bad event loss.. It happens and I rebounded.. Sorry to disappoint...

I ain't broke and I would have ran the table with the last Germany UFC event with win after win if Dennis Siver didn't lose in the end just for the record..

Back to my winning ways I tell thee... Larkin and Alex Oliveira will hit for sure.. Parlay those 2 up it's money gents...
