From the cage or from the broadcast booth? The winner should get cut from both as well.

Georgi Karakhanyan vs. Bubba Jenkins announced as co-main event of Bellator 132. Very weird but interesting fight.

“That doesn’t surprise me coming from Uncle Creepy. He’s kind of like one of those guys that pretty much do everything for attention, you know. And if you look at his fights; I mean for one, Demetrious is a better fighter and that’s what this comes down to. He’s a better fighter. He beat everyone in the division, and it’s just like, I don’t know.”
“He says he’s [Demetrious] a dork and he has no personality, but like, I think the last thing the division needs is a champion nicknamed “Uncle Creepy” that looks the way Ian McCall does, you know what I mean? Like that would be a lot worse than, a great, nice, athletic, you know, family man of a champion like Demetrious. I think it would be a lot worse to have a champion – I mean, even though I don’t think that would ever happen – named Uncle Creepy. You know, with a moustache and all his other antics.
“I think he’s always gonna kind of be that for the division. That’s the best thing he’s going to be able to do is talk smack and be Uncle Creepy.”
Former UFC title challenger, Joseph Benavidez had nothing nice to say about Ian McCall

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight Alan Belcher is saying goodbye to the 185-pound weight class when he makes his Octagon return in summer 2015, opting for an "easier" weight cut following his self-imposed hiatus.
From his conversation with The MMA Corner:
"I'm eyeing a return in the summer of the coming year. I have my sights on making a big impact when I return to the octagon. I'm thinking I'll return at 205 pounds. I feel more complete at this weight and it's what I feel is right. For the last year I've walked around at 230 pounds. The weight cut to 205 is much easier on my body and allows me to feel better when I fight. I feel stronger and have more energy when I don't make the cut to 185 pounds."
"The Talent" turns 31 in April.
After compiling four straight wins -- all of them finishes -- Belcher (18-8) dropped back-to-back fights to Yushin Okami and Michael Bisping, the latter of which left him with eight stitches, thanks to a "Count" eye poke (see the GIF here).

To Nunya's earlier point about how Manny Pacquiao deserves more than $40mil for a fight with Mayweather for some reason, Pacquiao-Algieri is rumoured to have done 300K buys.

If that report is true, Mayweather should offer 20mil$ next time.

Uh why? Mayweather did 800-900k last time. Economics of a PPV on US soil in Las Vegas are very different than a PPV in Asia.

Look at every foreign hosted PPV. They're down significantly.

The marketing and logistics are completely different when the PPV audience is mainly North American based and the host city is somewhere else.

What you're saying applies in a general sense, but is irrelevant to Pacquiao. He just did 500Kish buys against Rios of all people in the very same venue in Macau. Bradley/Pac II did less buys than the first one, and that shouldn't happen with a star who was as big as Pacquiao, rematching the guy who beat him. His star power is significantly declining, and it gets smaller the fewer feasible opponents he has. Mayweather can sell pretty much anything, but Pacquiao needs him for a significant (by their standards) payday. That's why.

Rios is a far more known name than Alegeri who was still fighting on espn 2 a year ago. Look Manny has less PPV pull because of the brutal KO and loss. Still offering a flat 40 million or 20 million is so f-cking stupid it shouldnt even be discussed.

Mayweather's own child called him a coward. It doesn't get any lower than that.

900k Is actually a financial disaster for Showtime. It is why they are pushing for bigger fights. They need well over 1 million PPV buys to break even on Floyd's contract because of the guaranteed up front money.

Strictly business wise Floyd's last two PPV's were financial disasters. Compared to Manny building a brand in China.

It should be discussed, though, because Mayweather has all the power and none of the reason to take a risk. Manny isn't exactly good with money, either. He simply doesn't hold enough of the cards.

The risk is him ending his career known as the coward who ducked Manny. Pac-Man has publicly called him out recently and many times. if he ends his career without fighting him that's what part of his legacy will be.

I have followed this whole Mayweather / Manny drama for a while. and its obvious Floyd doesen't want to fight him. why? i dont know. IMO i think it would be an easier fight then Canelo.

Manny is a much tougher matchup than Canelo, not even comparable. Floyd and Manny have ducked each other, they each had too much to lose, this is the only way we were ever going to see this fight; with one of them losing their bargaining power.

Yeah most people think Manny is shot now. Manny ducked the drug tests but he his begging for the fight now saying 60/40 split being fair. Mayweather getting 60.

You're right. CBS lost a shit load of cash to Mayweather and he will fight Khan and Garcia. He will keep saying TBE and every real boxing fan will laugh at him being scared of a shot fighter.

Well that's around the same number as Gayweather vs Algieri. Gayweather has not been doing too good lately in spite of having Hispanic opponents & fighting on Cinco de Mayo weekend. At this point in their careers they both need each other.

Nope. Floyd's father knows that Pac Man in his prime would have given his son hell. Both Floyd Sr & Jr have ducked Manny for years.

If you think someone with the size and power of Canelo wouden't give Manny trouble your out of your mind. would easily put money on Canelo in that fight. pay attention to boxing more to see how good this kid Canelo is.

Manny isn't in his prime any more guys. it will be an easier fight for Floyd then if they had fought a few years ago. should just get it done. i don't know what TBE is scared off.

Agree with everything but the last part.

The risk is always having a * next to your name when you coukdbt find a way to fight by far your biggest threat for thr last 7 years of your careeer.

Other greats sought out the best many times. Or would get mad enough to make thr fight happen if anyone calles them out.

I gst that mayweather doesnt give 2 shits and as long as he has fans and people around him stroking his rooster then he wont care or think much of it.

Floyd is all about money, brand, and himself. That is fine. Just dont come crying when your 50 on how you are remembered by the boxing public.

Great fighter no doubt. Maybe even better at promoting swuash matches.
