    Last Vegas trip I had strangers coming up to me showing me how good their 6 and 7 team parlays were looking, if only that 1 game didn't fukk them! I guess I look nice? I just nod politely and resist the urge to lecture them.

    It's funny, I will occasionally bet a tiny amount on like a 6 or 7 team parlay just for the fun of it, and they alway seems to lose by just 1 match. Even though I don't rally expect to win the bet and it's just for fun, the fact that it loses by just 1 is soooo frustrating. Would rather like 5 of the games lose so I didn't feel like I almost won it. Seems to be this way for everyone -- always just that one match that screws the whole thing up.

    They're not, if you're the average person, but they are if you're me. Most people rarely hit them, if ever, whereas I hit them regularly. I would have easily hit a couple 6 team MMA parlays this past weekend, but my current books don't allow MMA parlays. Need to find one that does.

    If you're getting true prices on large parlays they aren't any less profitable than straight plays, but your variance shoots through the roof, which isn't ideal if you're trying to sustain growth. And when you start hedging the plays you reduce your price.
