Any recent news as to why? Is it just normal market volatility? I'm new to bitcoin so I was wondering if you guys think I should just weather the storm or liquidate fast?

Someone picked a time of day when liquidity looked low and tried to dump a lot to manipulate the price seems the most likely explanation.
The drop halted pretty quickly once action heated up in the market.

I haven't sold in a while so I'm not sure about that. I just took a couple hundred bucks and put it over there for long term. I guess it'll pay off or disappear.
