As has been pointed out to you before, the 29k you keep crowing about was a bet, not a poker contest. 26.5k of that was placed when you had a significant lead, and even the way it turned out, I won more points than you did from the time that 26.5k was placed. Best you can say is that you won 2.5k for winning more from poker, and 26.5k for being spotted a large lead that I wasn't able to overcome (for various reasons). same thing with DS; what you claim as a "win' was after he beat you solidly multiple times, and only because he spotted you a lead...since he won more than you from the time you made the bet. Congratulations on not losing to me by as much as you were bet you would, but it still doesn't mean you won more in poker....especially when you got crushed by even more the following year

In the case of last year, bobbo was trying as hard as he could to win his annual and contest-long challenges (failing most of them), and I still beat him despite missing about 2 months of tournaments more than he did. Id he had beat me, there wouldn't have been much to conclude from it....but me beating him makes the point even more strongly.

To be fair, I'm sure the margin I beat him by was much larger because of SBR going to a skill-based payout for the first contest, instead of the show-up-and-fold-to-cash format that seems to be all bobbo can handle. His terrible performance during that period says quite a bit too

So, your argument is that Trip sending you pts was a gift? I find that hard to believe...The points Trip sent you were not a gift, but payment for a prior obligation. To help you out, according to Websters, a gift is "something voluntarily transferred by one person to another without compensation." The compensation in this instance is extinguishment of the debt. In addition, the “all I had to do was play poker” comment further backs up you were rubbing it in that you won.

If you still believe that I’m taking this out of context, I’m willing to bet 1k pts that if we create a poll more people would think you were being a smart ass than just showing gratitude for Trips gift. I’m sure Trip would have no problem backing me up for the 1k pts.

I'e done so, and others have done so...it has no effect, he just keeps coming up with ways to rationalize his losses (claims to lose on purpose, tries pretending whatever stats he does better in are most meaningful despite reality, etc) and yapping about it non-stop, as if that somehow proves it's true. There's no shortage of people who would beat bobbo soundly if they spent an equal amount of time, formats were standard skill-based, or both....but it's not likely to affect the fantasy world he's created where he's more than mediocre at poker. Is what it is, and at least his constant display of idiocy is entertaining sometimes
