Can't discuss rate without doing the extensive research necessary, to see if you even meet my guidelines & qualify for a loan of this magnitude. Exactly as I expected, this thieving stiff laid low for a couple weeks because of the heat he was getting here (he was signing on *everyday* prior and, like clockwork, shipping the stolen 12pts to SBR sportsbook) --- he figures things have died down and I'll forget and he'll just resume his thieving ways and go about his business....

Dude, you owe less than 1500 points? If you even have half a clue in poker; this can easily be paid back within 2 or 3 weeks. You say that you're not a stiff in your own post? Start making payments. This forum will easily forgive you. Just be a man of your word. That's what everybody wants around here. It's not hard once you put your mind to it. Just start making payments today. Even if you start off at 12 points a day; this would be great and is easily attainable. Just take the first step and come back to the good side and you'll easily gain respect back by everybody if you fulfill your agreement.

This guy really does log in every day and ship 12 to the book. As an act of good faith he should at least make these picks public so we can all fade accordingly.
The stiff just donks them off in the casino; what's even more pathetic is he occasionally clings on to 1pt so, presumably, he can feel all BIG WILLIE-like the next day with his bigger roll.

Mickey, there are things SBR could easily do in obvious/overt/evidence-based stiffing cases... but they choose not to.
There are stiffing cases far worse than NOYEBOY that scream for some official SBR action (easily implemented: i.e., overt stiffs shouldn't be allowed to enter SBR contests/poker tourneys and reap the same benefits as good community members, for just one example. I mean, it's just ridiculously galling and an affront to normalcy to have to sit next to, oh, say, "chipup" in a poker tourney or see his name in BTP. This is where SBR allows stiffs to continue to steal more from the good community members... where it'd be very easy to prevent that disgrace.)
There are valid arguments to be made on both sides of the should they/shouldn't they get involved in stiffing cases debate, some of which was discussed earlier in this thread.
As is, only recourse is for the community to pressure these stiffing, lying and dishonorable jackasses to live up to their word and warn other good members so they don't further get ripped off by them.
Below is the receipt for the ANGELMAN donation purchased this morning. You still owe ~750pts, NOYEBOY (and that's being kind)..... when do you plan on living up to your word? "I'm not a pts stiff", "your pts are safe with me" yadda yadda blah blah bullshit.
You've never had the courtesy to even respond to me via PM and communicate... you're a helluva guy.
Just pay what you owe, ffs... so another of these can be purchased. Try thinking about others instead of yourself -- it'd probably be a nice change from your normal routine.

Be careful who you loan to, guys have been stiffed prob. hundreds of thousands of points. Sbr stays out of loan disputes and so fourth, but they will issue stiff badges. Shame he paid me back no problem, and looks like he paid almost half of this one. What happened ? Communication would be good, don't understand why your ruining your credibility over 750 pts. Your good at poker, get it together and work something out guy, pm bite asap.
Disappointing to see. I joined the loan game and after two loans, I gave it up. I didn't like the potential of being stiffed and frustration it could result in. I would only loan to like 4-5 people. But none in that group would ever need a loan to begin with. Does this character still play poker?
Thanks, Freezer... and yep, would be nice if he extended the common courtesy of a PM to someone that did him a solid when he needed it... but instead, he willfully chose to ignore my attempts to work something out with him (and everyone that knows me knows I'm pretty easy to work with).
He ignored my PM's and some PM(s) from other(s), too.
He thought he'd just stiff and I'd go away quietly.
He left me no choice but to go public... and I warned him in PM "he better pack a lunch", cuz there's no way in hell he was gonna determine how his stiffing me would go down. I would have the last say on how his bullshit thievery attempt would go down: GUARANTEED.
Asshat ruins his reputation over some betpoints... pretty pathetic.
But... obviously he's of poor character so no real surprise, there.
And Slanina, I haven't seen him around poker in quite awhile... but, if you or others spot him trying to slink into a tourney, please post to let me know so I can "join" him so we can have a lil talk.

He has a weird definition of "long paid off"... then again, he has a weird way of going about next-to-everything (no communication whatsoever, took forever to make good, etc.)
True to my word, I purchased 3 more Angelman donations in addition to previous ones (post just above yours).
He finally paid but I personally would never trust him again.
It's just as important to keep one's word about time frames; why should I have been held hostage to *his* time frame? I'm the guy that did him the favor. He still stiffed me in spirit w/ ignoring my PM's, holding me up, etc.
I consider the matter now closed and know the reason he finally paid me off wasn't "doing the right thing" (as he wouldn't have let this drag on sans communication holding me up) but rather, he wanted to reengage playing poker tourneys and whatnot and knew he had to or face constant questioning from community.
But, he's obviously not a complete scumbag like others here and the Angelman charity got a number of donations so... in that sense, all's well that ends well.
